Usher, who finally got married a few days ago, didn't want to parade his love to the world by having a first dance. He wanted to do the opposite and spend some quiet moments with his new bride in a private dinner. Tameka Foster and him has a quiet TV dinner, ok, well, maybe not that tacky but they should have gone to Pizza Hut, I'm sure they give specials to newlyweds...that's romantic, right?

"It was beautiful and private. We didn't have a first dance - but we had a lovely, intimate dinner filled with candlelight and flowers."

So, a new celebrity trend, the first dinner. I guess the next question is, when's the last dinner?

After what seemed like years of breathless anticipation (To some Usher obsessed fans), Usher has finally wed his older and taller sweetheart Tameeka Foster. The wedding was initially delayed, amid (Tameeka's) fears that Usher had got cold feet, however as it turned out it was due to Tameeka having pregnancy issues. Female First reports,

The 28-year-old singer and Tameka Foster - who are expecting their first child together - tied the knot in his lawyer's offices in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday (03.08.07). The couple's basic nuptials come just a week after their original ceremony at record executive L.A. Reid's Hamptons estate was cancelled at the last minute. The R'n'B star called off the lavish wedding just two hours before last Saturday's ceremony (28.07.07) allegedly because his mother and former manager Jonetta Patton - who was believed to have been left off the guest list because of her ongoing feud with Tameka - didn't approve of the union. However, 37-year-old Tameka - who already has three children - rubbished the rumours, saying the wedding was delayed because she was hospitalised with a pregnancy scare. She said: "I was pushing myself way too hard. But I am fine and the baby is fine."

Lawyers room? Romantic. Still, I feel for Tameeka. It must be draining, thinking of ways to spend millions and millions of Dollars that you haven't earned except by sleeping with short men.

Why? No-one knows really, as the singer canceled his wedding at the 11th hour, a few hours before guests were due to arrive. While there has been no official statement to why the wedding was canceled and whether Usher and Tameka Foster are even still a couple, it's reported that Tameka's insistence that the wedding should go her way sparked Usher into canceling the nuptials. A very reliable source (and by reliable, I mean as reliable as my teddy) says:

"(the couple) had a lot of differences about the details. For example, the bride wanted barbeque, (Usher) wanted to have (renowned chef) Jean Georges cook. (Due to the differences, the wedding) "was on again off again for the past few days. (Foster) was calling it off because she wasn't getting the things that she wanted. The mother was calling it off. ... Usher was calling it off."

Also, Usher's mum didn't approve of the match and I guess she was like me and didn't think pregnancy was the best reason to getting married. I wonder if mums feel pain that her son is marrying a sasqauch? So basically, there was no wedding because they couldn't decide what food they wanted. When in doubt, go for McDonalds. I would love to be at a wedding where they served McDonalds, how brilliant would that be? Starting a new life with trust, love, loyalty and a Happy Meal. See, I'll be happy then!

Singer Usher and fiancee Tameka Foster have announced that they are expecting their first child.

So that's why they're getting married! What? Love? Pfft, no-one gets married for love anymore. Ok, so maybe I'm being a bit cynical, but that's just me. The R&B singer is also releasing a new album and will be getting married to Tameka soon. But check how tall this chick is...or maybe Usher is just short. Whatever, he'll always be the little one his whole life now.

R & B Singer Usher has confirmd reports that he's engaged to his long-time girlfriend Tameka Foster after she was seen wearing a diamond ring. Usher has ended the speculation and he's reporting that he'll be married before the end of the year. Not really much to make fun of here, I like Usher. He takes his shirt off...guys who take their shirts off are all right...except Peter Griffin from Family Guy, my eyes burn and I have to spend 2 weeks in therapy when he does that. I really shouldn't watch that show, right? But his laugh is just so sexy...hehehehe. Before I get lost in my Peter fantasy, I just wanna wish usher and Tameka all the best, I'm sure they're reading this -roll eyes- but by wishing them I'm the nicer person.
