Mandy Moore attempted to put a positive spin on her being a love-less, lonely and all round sad woman who is well on the way to buying a million dollar mansion for her cats, by saying that going on a vacation alone set her “free”.

Moore says (While launching a site called www.pumpitup.com which aims to help woman find their “wellness”…Pfft… whatever),

“I was always kind of terrified of going on vacation alone. That thought really scared me, but I wanted to push that bruise and do it anyway

I ended up having the most incredible time. It was so peaceful, not having to answer to anyone or take anybody else’s opinions into account, It is empowering and it’s such a simple thing to do.”

She went on to say that she hopes women women would realize they are “worthy of taking time” for themselves, saying,

“We all struggle with finding time for ourselves between family and friends and work and all those other obligations and we neglect ourselves,”

Double Pfft… My mum has no problem finding time for me and herself in her life. She just tells me to go make my own lunch when I ask for food. She also tells me to wash my own clothes when I ask her to clean my clothes. She also tells me to clean my own room when I complain about the pigsty my room is in… She also tells me to stop calling her mum and to stop hanging around her “spot”.

It’s lucky we have that nice woman that lives with us.

Sometime actress and sometime singer, Mandy Moore (Really though… is she an actress or a singer?), took a swipe at her hell raising colleagues, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, labelling them “f**k ups” (You know, I wondered why Paris Hilton wasn’t included in this barb… but then I realised that she’s not really a rival. Unless sleeping around with random guys and taking jail vacations is what Mandy Moore is about… because if she was… unlucky Mandy… It’s like trying to compete with Godzilla in a burger eating contest… or with that fat f***er Ronald McDonald… Lose some weight you half-assed clown!).

She said,

“I’m by no means a goody-goody, but I’d rather be considered a goody-goody than a f**k-up. It’s funny that there’s so much emphasis put on that now. Their extracurricular activities are more newsworthy that anything they’re really doing.”

The 23 year old, said that she could never reinvent herself as a “wild child” because it’s not who she is.

“I’m not going to walk out without my underwear on. I’m not going to stumble out of a club drunk, you know? It’s just not me, it wouldn’t be authentic.”

I’m always open to criticizing whores (or just people in general), but at the end of the day… Mandy Moore still slept with Zach Braff. She wasn’t drunk or nuffink’! At least Lindsay and Britney could still argue inebriation when asked about Fez (From that 70’s Show) and K.Fed, respectively… Or the other 75000 guys they’ve done it with… not respectively.

Note: And Mandy Moore went out with Fez! For shame Mandy! For shame!

I didn’t know Mandy Moore was close to getting married…well, maybe I did know but I can’t remember right now. Anyways, she had a little fantasy of a beach wedding but has struck the Caribbean off her list because it was just too hot and sticky there.

“It was beautiful but, man alive, it was hot and it kind of killed that fantasy of wanting to get married on the beach with a private little ceremony - it’s sticky and humid,”

Well, I just don’t care, since I refused my invite to her wedding already. Sticky doesn’t appeal to me either.

Oh, and FYI, SoggyCornflakes won’t be getting updated during the weekend, just because I want to actually have a holiday from my computer.

Actress Mandy Moore doesn’t think that getting naked for roles is the thing for her. Mandy insists that she is too self-conscious and could never walk the streets knowing that strangers had seen her nude.

“It would be completely uncomfortable to walk down the street and know that the person passing by had seen me without my clothes on,”

Though very diplomatically, she says there’s nothing wrong with other actresses doing nude scenes, just that those roles aren’t for her and she’s turned down many directors who insisted on nudity.

“I’m not saying that it’s wrong for someone else to do them, but I think there’s a way to be feminine and sexy without posing half-naked,” she added.

Ummm, yeah, so that’s it for now, more later. I’m off to vegetate…erm, I mean, study.
