Dakota Fanning, one of the few child actors that doesn't make you wonder why the parents in the movies don't take them to their room and give them the thrashing of their lives, has reportedly pulled out of her new movie My Sister's Keeper - Reason? She didn't want to shave her head.
IMDB.com reports,
The War Of The Worlds star, 13, was set to star in the forthcoming Nick Cassavetes film, about a young girl who files for legal separation from her parents after discovering she was only conceived to help prolong the life of her sick sister. But Fanning withdrew from the project after learning the role would require her to lose her blonde locks, reports industry publication Variety. And the teen is not the only one to quit My Sister's Keeper - her nine-year-old sister Elle Fanning has also pulled out of the movie. They will now be replaced by Sofia Vassilieva and Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin as the elder and younger siblings, respectively.Weird. Did you know she was a teen? I found it to be quite disturbing news to be honest. I mean in a couple of years, 'ickle Dakota from The Cat in the Hat(Didn't watch) and Uptown Girls(Didn't watch) will be blowing up cars and having intercourse with many nameless men (I'd guess). Because that's what American kids do right? Have sex and blow up things? Don't lie to me! I watched Havoc!
