Jon Lovitz beat up Andy Dick last week at the Laugh Laugh Factory. The owner, Jamie Masada witnessed the whole thing. He told press, “Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose.”. The incident stems from an earlier incident (Shocking, I know... I thought people usually just start smashing each others faces in, for no reason whatsoever... but I guess not) in which Dick made a comment regarding Lovitz' friend, the late Phil Hartman (Who was killed by his wife). Lovitz says,

“He looked at me and said, ‘I put the “Phil Hartman hex” on you - you’re the next one to die.’ I said, ‘What did you say?’ and he repeated it. I wanted to punch his face in, but I don’t hit women.”

When they met up at last weeks Laugh Factory, Lovitz was expecting an apology. Instead he got more lip, which led to the fight. ... I'm going to beat someone up. Like that kid who said I stunk in Grade 1. Sure he's suffering severe depression now, and lives in an institution and doesn't have any arms and can't really talk anymore... But what's right is right. It's always been so. But seriously, Andy Dick... is... for want of a better word a dick. As well as being probably the most shite comedian of the last decade. You could probably put a broom up in place of Dick and it would generate more laughs. Admittedly they'd be more of the pity variety, but it's still better than Dicks usual fare, ie Tomatoes and dildoes.
