The Emmy’s scientifically prove, that there’s nothing good on TV…
Posted on July 19th, 2007 by Thesman under EmmysThe Emmy nominations are out! The nominations aimed at actors and directors who couldn’t make it on the big screen left many (read: me) feeling underwhelmed.
The Emmy’s gave the Soprano’s an affectionate send off, with the gangster drama garnered 15 nominations, including Best Actor (James Gandolfini) Best Actress (Edie Falco) and best Drama series (umm… the Soprano’s… in case you’re lost).
However despite the impressive haul, Soprano’s still came off second best to the made-for-TV movie (told you… not good enough for the big screen… unless you have a 100″ TV… than I guess it’s good enough for YOUR big screen) Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, which received 17 nominations.
Other highly nominated shows were Ugly Betty (11), Greys Anatomy (10), 30 Rock (10) and Heroes (8).
Who cares? All these shows suck! Every time I try to watch one, by the end of the show I’m passed out on the sofa, due to wanking over all the hot chicks my high (and deep) level of analysis of what TV is doing to our society.
