Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have decided that if either of them contracted some brain disease or tumour, they would kill themselves, rather than suffer or let their kids see them suffer.

Sharon speaks from personal experience when she saw her father suffer with Alzheimers for 5 years and she says that she could never do that to her family.

“Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision. We believe 100 per cent in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it - we’d be off.

We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it.

I saw my father suffer from the day he came back into my life in 2002 to the day he died in July. There’s no way I could go through what he did, or put my kids through that.”

Of course, knowing that your parents committed suicide will be such a relief rather than someone shooting them. You know what would be funny though? If poor Sharon or Ozzy decided to commit suicide, and a few days later, someone found a cure for the disease.
