I know SoggyCornflakes isn’t a political blog but honestly, has the whole world gone mad?! Before I go back to my usual flip style, I just hope all of our readers (and their family and friends and everyone in the subcontinent) is okay and our thoughts are with the victims of these brutal attacks and their families. Everyone knows this isn’t what any religion is about and anyone who thinks otherwise can burn in Hell.
Ok, rage-driven rant over now…and about my absence, completely out of my control, I was 100% ready to update yesterday, had pictures and everything up, so I’ll be flooding SoggyCornflakes with posts today to make up for it.
First story, Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj is a terrible flop and now Katrina Kaif’s line of hits has been broken and Salman Khan’s line of flops continues, which is actually pretty amusing, if you get pleasure from other people’s failures like I do.
Things have started off so badly for the movie that several shows are being cancelled in cineplexes across the country (and this has nothing to do with the attacks, it just really sucks). The burning chemistry that Katrina said existed between her and Salman is seriously lacking and because of the bad reviews that have been making the rounds, no one is really interested in watching the movie at all.
Now what is Salman supposed to do? Maybe a movie with Akshay Kumar will boost his career?

Maybe because he looks so stupid in a turban and is a disgrace to them all? Sorry for the quality of the picture, but it was the only one I could find…well, kinda. Anyways, moving on.
Akshay Kumar is now in Australia shooting his next film with Katrina Kaif. Their ‘jodi’ (partnership) has proved to be quite successful in Namaste London and any director would be willing to they them again. Just one problem…the film is titled Singh is King and is meant to empower Sikh people in the community…except it just seems to be pissing them off.
The local Punjabi community in Australia is not appreciative of Akshay’s look, of a clean-shaven Sikh and objected when some photos were leaked of Akki wearing his turban all wrong. But director Vipul Shah insists that the photos are not a true reflection of the look that Akshay will be sporting in the movie. He’s even had people come in to tell Akshay exactly how to wear the turban correctly.
Is this the advent of the modern Sikh?
Oh and finally, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that you won’t have to read my ramblings for a few days…the bad news is that I can’t ramble for a few days. Advance apologies for not updating but I’ll be back soon. It won’t be too bad…please don’t cry. Because if you cry, I’ll cry and…you see what I meant about the rambling? Take care everyone…next time I’ll be updating from a whole other continent!

It looks like Katrina Kaif is tired of Salman Khan’s obsessiveness and reports suggest that the 4-year relationship is about to end. Obviously there’s no official confirmation but let’s just assume it’s the truth.
Problems with their relationship:
1. Rumours that Katrina only got the roles and recognition that she did because of Salman, which irked her.
2. Salman’s supposed jealousy about her co-stars, including Akshay Kumar and recently, Shahid Kapoor that Katrina is supposed to partner with.
3. Salman hasn’t seen Kat is more than a month, since she’s been shooting in Australia with Akshay Kumar for their new movie Singh is King. Before he would move a whole film-set to be near her, now he can’t even catch a flight?
4. Salman’s been pressuring Katrina for marriage, which she’s not ready for. No big surprise there, since he’s not getting any younger.
So things don’t look good for this couple…and if history repeats itself, they were due for the split. Salman Khan always seems to go into these long-term relationships that end in break-ups, most notably his relationship with Aishwarya Rai. Now we just wait for the official announcement.
