Recently, Tanushree Dutta was not impressed by certain dance moves that she was expected to do in Horn Ok Please. She felt they were too obscene and eventually stormed back to her trailer when she couldn’t get her way.

I see an ulterior motive though. Her co-star in the item song was Nana Patekar…nuff said. I know Bollywood isn’t superficial…pfft, whatever, they totally are. Of course Tanushree doesn’t want to do those scenes with Nana. Ask her to do them with John Abraham and she’ll be singing a different song.

Oh and to top off the story, her father got into a fight with some paparazzi and damaged a camera. So they hounded her for an apology and damage charges…no idea if she payed up however.

A nice easy post this one is…Happy Valentine’s Day everyone…since I don’t believe in the commercial holiday, which is nothing more than an excuse to make guy’s feel guilty, girls feel stupid and everyone wastes money on tacky teddy bears and plastic roses. Love is not this but let’s see how Bollywood will be spending it’s day…

Aishwarya Rai: “I’ll be attending the premiere of Jodha-Akbar in Delhi on Valentine’s Day. But Abhishek will be with me. So no complaints.

Doing: “We’re going for a short trip to Cape Town. For the last three years on Valentine’s Day John and I have been in in different countries. Looking forward to this flash holiday.

No Duh, he is rather cute, despite having no taste in woman. What Shahid Kapoor is thinking in the picture above kinda reminds me of one of my friends who’s nice enough to read SoggyCornflakes and also refuses to accept how cute he is ;-). But anyways, back to Shahid.

He was recently mobbed in Hong Kong at a stage show and apparently, fellow stars Tanushree Dutta, Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar were tickled pink to see Shahid become pink himself from all the female attention.

A friend says:

“As soon he landed at the airport he had to rush to the venue without any rehearsals as he was getting late and when he reached the venue, he was mobbed by thousands of girls,”

Thousands might be overdoing it…maybe like 40-50. With a 1000 girls, Shahid would be one flat cutie, even with police protection.

We’ve seen a multitude of Miss India’s making it in Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Tunushree Dutta, Sushmita Sen…or at least you need to win some beauty pageant to get into the industry, as the above have done.

Now you’ll get to see Miss India 2003 Nikita Anand in a new movie and she’s reported to be the next big thing; as most new actresses are. You can judge for yourself: her new movie is Dil Dosti Etc.

On the other hand, Miss India 2007 feels that Bollywood is below her and she won’t take anything below Hollywood.

Sarah Jane Dias, Femina Miss India-World says:

“I am not really interested in Bollywood. What attracts me is Hollywood,”

So when will we see her in the latest Wal-Mart ad?

Anyway.

Former Miss India (What’s up with that? Once they were producing girls like Aishwarya, Priyanka and Sushmita and now we get Celina Jaitley and Tanushree? Blah!) Tanushree Dutta says that she was taken advantage of during the filming of her latest movie. She says that she told the director, Raj Kanwar, that she would not be doing any kissing or lovemaking scenes. He apparently agreed with her, saying that he only makes family films.

It came as a surprise to Tanushree than, when he said that the movie was filled with explicit scenes.

She’s apparently shocked that such an experienced man can involve himself in a such a cheap publicity stunt.

You know, even though I don’t know who the guy is… and the only thing I know about Tanushree Dutta is that she’s a shame to the Ms. India title. I MUST take his side. I mean, he said I make family films. And family films are always filled with softcore pornography, bloody car chases and random girls taking their tops off… I mean isn’t that what family viewing is all about?

Hey, she’s like me! Except my parents are cooler than Tanushree’s, they’re the king and queen of Pakistan. You say that Pakistan isn’t a democracy? Hah, it would be if they let my parents rule.

So Tanushree was brought up in a strict household where she wasn’t even allowed to wear skirts, but started modeling secretly when she moved away from them to continue her studies. Her parents found out but came to terms with it when she won the Miss India pageant. Then she acted in Aashiq Banaya Aapne and her parents almost disowned her for her risque role.

Now her parents have moved to Mumbai, curbing their daughter again, but she’s trying to be a good Indian daughter and accept that what they are doing is for her own good.
