I know SoggyCornflakes isn’t a political blog but honestly, has the whole world gone mad?! Before I go back to my usual flip style, I just hope all of our readers (and their family and friends and everyone in the subcontinent) is okay and our thoughts are with the victims of these brutal attacks and their families. Everyone knows this isn’t what any religion is about and anyone who thinks otherwise can burn in Hell.
Ok, rage-driven rant over now…and about my absence, completely out of my control, I was 100% ready to update yesterday, had pictures and everything up, so I’ll be flooding SoggyCornflakes with posts today to make up for it.
First story, Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj is a terrible flop and now Katrina Kaif’s line of hits has been broken and Salman Khan’s line of flops continues, which is actually pretty amusing, if you get pleasure from other people’s failures like I do.
Things have started off so badly for the movie that several shows are being cancelled in cineplexes across the country (and this has nothing to do with the attacks, it just really sucks). The burning chemistry that Katrina said existed between her and Salman is seriously lacking and because of the bad reviews that have been making the rounds, no one is really interested in watching the movie at all.
Now what is Salman supposed to do? Maybe a movie with Akshay Kumar will boost his career?

More Salman Khan fights *sigh* Does this guy ever stop fighting or holding grudges?
From the Rockstars tour, which happened so long ago that most people have forgotten about it, but obviously Sallu doesn’t forgive or forget. On that tour, he managed to get into an argument with Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham and he still hasn’t forgiven John, as shown at a recent press event where John and Salman were carefully kept separate.
The source speaks about the event, where Sallu was the focus but John was the star,
“Salman was asked to attend the event by Subhash Ghai, the director of ‘Yuvvraaj’. Salman was to hand out trophies to the contestants along with other film personalities like Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor.
Salman was the first person to reach the venue, followed by Ajay, Kajol and Kareena. They were all seated on a big table with Ghai.”
“John doesn’t like public scenes and he kept to himself. He didn’t even look in the direction of Sallu’s table, where all the actors were chatting and laughing.
Then the announcer called Sallu, Ajay, Kajol and Kareena on stage to inaugurate the event. John was never meant to go on the stage. He was attending the event as a guest, but the members of the audience who spotted him, started to holler his name and the organizers had no other option but to call him on stage too.
Once on stage, John and Salman looked through each other. After giving awards, John stayed back at the event while Salman made a quick exit.”
I’m getting bored of these celebrity fights…I think I’ll be avoiding these kinda stories now.

When push comes to shove, there is always a question about where our loyalties lie. Zayed Khan’s loyalties obviously lies with Yuvraaj director Subhash Ghai rather than friend Sunil Shetty and his film Mission Istaanbul.
Read how Zayed is a bad friend here!
