Sonu Sood sounds like a very down to earth person. He’s acted/acting in cinematic gems like Jodha-Akbar and Singh is Kinng and he doesn’t act at all like a star. He was perfectly in his rights when he refused to shoot a scene involving artificial rain of (gasp!) normal water! How dare Sooraj Bharjatya even think about destroying his beautiful mane of hair! Sonu’s I mean, not Sooraj’s.

So bechara Sonu had to wait until they brought gallons of mineral water onto the set and then dumped it on him in place of the real-water rain, the poor dear. His hair was saved and the fact that mineral water costs more than petrol was a small price to pay.
