So am I! Actually, I'm just tired. This will be a short and not that sweet post.
Soha Ali Khan misses her family since most of them are in London at the moment and she's stuck in the Mumbai heat and rain, shooting for her new film
Dhoondte Reh Jaoge.
She also talks about bhai Saif Ali Khan and the fact that people seem to think she's his publicist or something,
"I wouldn't want to comment on my personal life. Or Bhai's relationship with Kareena of which I'm often asked to be a spokesperson because he's inaccessible. It's so boring to comment on their relationship. It's got nothing to do with my life."
Actually it does, she would be gaining an evil sister-in-law! It has a lot to do with her life! Ag, who cares, I'm going to bed. Good night all!

Thanks to Appu for the tip:-)
Even though
Saif Ali Khan loves the fact that he has a stick-thin girlfriend who likes skimpy clothes, he isn't OK with the fact that sister
Soha Ali Khan is allowed to wear skimpy clothes as well.
Soha recently appeared on the cover (and inside) of Maxim magazine, dressed in skimpy-ish lingerie that big brother Saif did not appreciate at all. He feels that his sister should be the model of modesty and decorum and even insists that she is like that, even though she didn't look too uncomfy during the shoot. Saif is supposedly furious with the pictures of Soha...
Soha wished to drop her sweet and decent image in the industry, to be in the running for the same roles as
Kareena. What is it with Bollywood actresses? The sexy-and-showing-it ones want to get decent and the decent-but-not-proud-of-it want to start flaunting...

And that is true big-brother love and protection right there.
Rumours that Soha Ali Khan is going out with fellow actor Siddharth (from Rang de Basanti fame) are actually true and things have gone far enough that Siddharth has met both Saif Ali Khan and Soha's parents, who apparently love the man...I wonder if they love the fact that he has a wife and maybe a child as well? That's like a built-in family already...extra bonus for Soha.
A source (no, not my teddy, a real one) reports,
“It was during the shooting of Rang De Basanti that Soha and Siddharth became extremely close. They had been in a relationship for more than a year but couldn’t come out openly with it because he had gone through a divorce from his childhood girlfriend Meghna, last year. "
"Siddharth is a reserved person, he liked Soha’s bubbly nature and positivity towards life. Gradually, they both discovered that they had more than a deep affection for each other.
Saif asked Soha over to his Bandra apartment along with her boyfriend. When she arrived, she was surprised to see her parents present as well. Saif had called them over dinner to meet his little sister’s object of affection,"
So, actor? Check. Loving? Check. Smart? Check? Cheating man-whore? Check. Ah, love. Isn't it beautiful?
Note: There are reports that Sidd is divorcing his wife, which still makes him a cheating man-whore though, just not one who's wife will come murder him and his lover. That how these filmi people work, right? Shoot first, ask questions later? Oh wait, that's the mafia...never mind.

It's not the first time that a Bollywood actress has spoken out about the constant skin-shows that happen on-screen but Soha Ali Khan has another reason not to expose. Why? Because her mum said she couldn't. Or at least that she shouldn't.
Soha's mum, Sharmila Tagore has advised her daughter, through her own experience, that exposing on screen was a mistake that she made. Sharmila shocked everyone 30 years ago by wearing a bikini in
An Evening in Paris and now feels that that's not what she wants for her daughter, even if filmmakers expect it from Soha, just because she did it before.
"She told me that if producers want me to get into a bikini just because she did so once, I'm supposed to say, 'My mom made some mistakes. I won't repeat them.' There are some things which I don't need to be told not to do, just as I've my own list of dos,"
She also speaks about her role in the industry and confusion about what kinds of roles she likes best. So the answer? Simple, do both.
"I'm not too old in the industry, still finding my way around. I can't say whether I'm cut out for 'Shaadi No. 1' or 'Antarmahal'. Ideally I'd like to do both kinds of cinema, just like my mom did. There're some things I won't be comfortable doing."
"Sometimes I feel I belong to another era. That's when 'Antarmahal' seems like my cup of tea. Then again I want to do a young contemporary girl's role because that's what I'm in real life. In 'Rang De Basanti', I played a young college-going girl. I like that."
Sorry for the rubbish posts today (besides Locustwillow's of course) but I think I'm coming down with something. Toomuchexamsitis? I think so!

As the A-List of Bollywood flock to the premiere. Besides the cast of the movie, most of Bollywood's old families were there, including Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Akshaye Khanna, Kangana Ranaut, Diya Mirza, Lara Dutta, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Sushmita Sen, Soha Ali Khan and Siddharth.
Guess who wasn't there? Obviously the cast of Om Shanti Om, who were a bit too busy getting ready for their own premiere. Too have a looksy as all the stars,
click here. Awww, don't they all look pretty. It's like a wedding...without the yummy food and no one is getting screwed for life. Just joking...I love weddings. I'm not sure if I want to be the one getting married just yet though.
The storyline...which wasn't particularly clear before sounds a bit Romeo and Juliet-esque to me. Like the star-crossed lovers and madness stemming from rejection. At least they didn't kill themselves...I hope they didn't do that. I hate sad movies.
Fun fact: Saif and Kareena were holding on for dear life...and Shahid was there too.

Bipasha Basu will be acting in a Hollywood movie with Aisharya Rai and Ben Kingsley. Obviously, she will be playing an Indian role, but she's very excite by the whole affair.
Bipasha will be playing the daughter of Shah Jahan (Ben) and Mumtaz Mahal (Ash).
"Yes, there's another role in the film ... And Ben Kingsley has asked me to do it. We've already spoken about it. And now we just need to work out the dates. "
"There's a very special character which Ben has asked me to play. "
Special meaning you're on the screen for five minutes, that kind of special?
Bips also dismisses rumours that she's having problems with Soha Ali Khan, stating:
"Now where did that come from? I don't even know Soha well enough to be snubbed by her. What are we supposed to be fighting about? And please, nobody snubs me."
...
...
...
You see what I did there? I snubbed her.

While all Aishwarya Rai fans collapse in tears, we can all discuss whether Lara Dutta can be a decent Paro or not in the remake of
Devdas. Well, it's not a proper remake, it's a modernised version, which sounds alot more interesting than the older ones. I love classics but new ideas are also nice. The updated version will be called
Aur Devdas and so far there's no word on who'll be playing Devdas. Who do you think will still look cute when he's drunk and heartbroken?
Lara will be playing Paro, an investment banker and Soha Ali Khan is a hopeful to play Chandramukhi, who'll be a politician.
Lara says:
“I’m very excited. I’ve wanted to work with Sudhir Mishra for a long time. And now we’ve the perfect script.”
Have the Ash fans stopped crying yet? Don't worry guys, change is good!

Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan, daughter of the Nawab of Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore, says that her parents didn't want her to become an actress and are (seemingly) still a bit miffed at her choice of career.
She says,
"I was consciously shielded from cinema. I did not even see many Indian movies, My parents did not see me as an actor and I knew if I joined Bollywood, I would make them unhappy.
"I studied in London and moved to Mumbai where I started working in a bank but I had the desire to act and I got seduced by Bollywood."
When asked about her mums reaction to her career choice she says,
"She does give me some tips occasionally but she has hardly praised me for my acting."
Well... Soha, to be perfectly honest with you, when you act in classics like Dil Maange More and Shaadi No. 1 , you shouldn't really be looking for praise. Rather you should be glad that no one pelted you with rotten tomatoes before hanging you up by your legs and kicking you in the face over and over and over and over and over again.
NOTE: Yes, I know she acted in Rang De Basanti... but I choose to ignore that. It's called selective journalism people. It's also called being a manipulative, jealous, bitter c*nt. Same same.
