Shaadi ho gayi?

Saif and Kareena not married As unbelievable as this is, some sources are reporting that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have gotten married already. Reports are conflicting, with Saif's mum Sharmila Tagore saying that she has no idea about any ceremony.
"I have no idea," "When he married Amrita Singh, he didn't inform. I don't think he would do the same thing again,"
Hmmm, but other reports say that Saif gave Kareena a BMW for a wedding present and his astrologer confirms that the two made vows in front of a Maulvi (Islamic priest) and exchanged rings,
"Yes, I have heard that Saif and Kareena solemnized their relationship with a formal exchange of rings in the presence of a maulvi on Wednesday. The ceremony took place at 12.30 p.m. This is what is known as vachan vivaah,"
And after a quick Google search, I find out that "Vachan Vivah" just means a promise to get married, or an engagement if you will. What a rip off!

Soha won’t let history be repeated

Soha ali It's not the first time that a Bollywood actress has spoken out about the constant skin-shows that happen on-screen but Soha Ali Khan has another reason not to expose. Why? Because her mum said she couldn't. Or at least that she shouldn't. Soha's mum, Sharmila Tagore has advised her daughter, through her own experience, that exposing on screen was a mistake that she made. Sharmila shocked everyone 30 years ago by wearing a bikini in An Evening in Paris and now feels that that's not what she wants for her daughter, even if filmmakers expect it from Soha, just because she did it before.
"She told me that if producers want me to get into a bikini just because she did so once, I'm supposed to say, 'My mom made some mistakes. I won't repeat them.' There are some things which I don't need to be told not to do, just as I've my own list of dos,"
She also speaks about her role in the industry and confusion about what kinds of roles she likes best. So the answer? Simple, do both.
"I'm not too old in the industry, still finding my way around. I can't say whether I'm cut out for 'Shaadi No. 1' or 'Antarmahal'. Ideally I'd like to do both kinds of cinema, just like my mom did. There're some things I won't be comfortable doing." "Sometimes I feel I belong to another era. That's when 'Antarmahal' seems like my cup of tea. Then again I want to do a young contemporary girl's role because that's what I'm in real life. In 'Rang De Basanti', I played a young college-going girl. I like that."
Sorry for the rubbish posts today (besides Locustwillow's of course) but I think I'm coming down with something. Toomuchexamsitis? I think so!

Soha’s mum hates her…

Soha Ali Khan Soha Ali Khan, daughter of the Nawab of Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore, says that her parents didn't want her to become an actress and are (seemingly) still a bit miffed at her choice of career. She says,
"I was consciously shielded from cinema. I did not even see many Indian movies, My parents did not see me as an actor and I knew if I joined Bollywood, I would make them unhappy. "I studied in London and moved to Mumbai where I started working in a bank but I had the desire to act and I got seduced by Bollywood."
When asked about her mums reaction to her career choice she says,
"She does give me some tips occasionally but she has hardly praised me for my acting."
Well... Soha, to be perfectly honest with you, when you act in classics like Dil Maange More and Shaadi No. 1 , you shouldn't really be looking for praise. Rather you should be glad that no one pelted you with rotten tomatoes before hanging you up by your legs and kicking you in the face over and over and over and over and over again. NOTE: Yes, I know she acted in Rang De Basanti... but I choose to ignore that. It's called selective journalism people. It's also called being a manipulative, jealous, bitter c*nt. Same same.
