Bebo on the sets of Main aur Mrs Khanna

Sorry for the so so late updates, just been crazily busy today, but yay! It's Friday, meaning that most of you have a whole two days of freedom coming up and if you're like me, you have a whole month of freedom staring you in the face...

Kareena Kapoor was recently spotted on the sets of Main aur Mrs Khanna, in which she stars with Salman Khan. Obviously now she's in Bangkok for IIFA, but Salman is still working hard on the movie, which also contains his brother Sohail.

It's being directed by Prem Soni and Kareena says that she's a bit nervous to act with Sallu again, despite the success of Kyun Ki.

Kareena says,
“Although we’ve done Priyadarshan’s Kyun Ki before, I always get nervous working with Salman. He was my sister’s hero long before we were paired together. And now to be doing a film with him…” “Our new film Main Aur Mrs Khanna is an intensely romantic film. I don’t think Salman has done a pure love story like this before. Neither have I. Sohail is also in the film.”
Others have tagged the film as a comedy and since stick-thin chicks don't get any laughs, Kareena has put on a little weight, to her credit. Not that it's hard to put on weight, all you have to do is eat tons of McDonald's and then take a nap...that's how sumo wrestlers do it.

The other Akshaye will never get married

Author: tigger  //  Category: Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Priyadarshan
Another interview post because I'm just feeling too sick to update properly here. Akshaye Khanna hasn't been in the news for a while, possible because he's so boring, but since his new movie, Mere Baap Pehle Aap (My Father, You First) is coming out, the media wants to talk to him.
Q. What’s the most important part of this film? A. The most interesting part of the film was rebuking Paresh Rawal. Because, in my real life, I would never have chance to scream at my father. I think audience will have a great chance to watch a feel good movie after a long gap. You will certainly feel better with everything around you after watching the film. Q. Priyadarshan, Abbas Mastan and Anil Kapoor believe in your acting ability. Do you feel pressurized because of that? A. Not at all. Q. There was a somber relationship between father and son in Gandhi My Father and in Mere Baap Pehle Aap, the same relationship between a father and son is comic. Personally, which do you enjoy most? A. Actually, there is no special genre that I can enjoy personally. My job is the most important matter to me. I enjoy them while I face the camera. That’s all. Q. Getting little personal, how is your personal relationship with your father? A. My father is more friend than father to me. He is such a man who never imposes any of his decisions on anyone else; it may be his children or his wife. He accepts people from the core of his heart. Believe me; I have met more than thousand of my father’s friends. He is really a social being. Q. What’s the reason that you are still a bachelor? A. The answer is ‘freedom, freedom and only freedom’. I have no interest in marriage and I will never get married. I think I must not be answerable to anyone. I neither like to reply to anyone nor do I like to enquire anyone. Q. Please tell us about your forthcoming films. A. Along with Mere Baap Pehle Aap, there are films like Anil Kapoor’s Shortcut and an animated film Ab Dilli Door Nehi. I have dubbed for this film. It was a completely different experience from usual acting schedules.
And that's it, I'm done for today. Good night everyone, be back with more interesting news tomorrow. Hopefully the main one being that I'm not dying...I think I was having heart palpitations just now.

Amisha is going to kill SRK

Author: tigger  //  Category: Amisha Patel, Juhi Chawla, Priyadarshan, Shah Rukh Khan
Amisha Patel That's a bit harsh, but that's what I do when people don't support me. But if I can't hurt them, then I bear a grudge my whole life. So I'm polite to their faces but pull my tongue behind them. That's bad girl to you, right there! Anyways, the story is that Shah Rukh Khan used his considerable muscle (hypothetically I mean, not those steroid-filled lumps) to make sure that he acted in his new movie with old pal Juhi Chawla and not Amisha Patel. Billoo Barber, Shah Rukh's next movie also stars Irrfan Khan as Billoo and Amisha was meant to be his wife. Not happening though. The movie is directed by Priyadarshan and is meant to be a modernised story of lord Krishna. Amisha did have a small role in Priyadarshan's previous film Bhool Bhulaiya which she complained about, insisting that she wasn't given enough screen time and enough space on promotional posters. Other reports suggest that it was Amisha who opted out of the role because it was too insignificant for her. Either way, she's really in no position to question a role in a SRK movie. So another wannabe bites the dust.

Amisha Patel is invisible

Amisha Patel Amisha Patel is not having a good time. Her last movie flopped at the box office and just in case she's unlucky, the director and producer decided it was better that she wasn't shown on promotional posters and CD's. The result is a very pissed off Amisha. Amisha is the lead in the movie with Akshay Kumar (who by the way seems to be everywhere now a days, he's like the parasite of Bollywood). Unfortunately, Amisha is shown as second string, pictured away from Akshay and Vidya (who's the love interest of second lead male Shiney Ahuja) is shown right next to the main man. Amisha is seriously not amused, but can't do much about it right now, since the posters and other junk have already been printed. Director Priyadarshan comments about the covers but fails to explain why his lead actress was shown this way.
"I have seen the posters and the CD covers you are referring to, and if Amisha is hurt and feels let down then she has every right to be. These kind of things do let you down."
Is this a not so subtle way of saying "You suck but I'm sorry"?
