Hrishitaa Bhatt talks too much…

Posted by tigger in Hrishitaa Bhatt, Mithun Chakraborty, Shahid Kapoor

And her name is hard to spell!

Today is an ultra slow news day, so I’ve been reduced to talking about Hrishita Bhatt and her new movie and what she thinks of it. Her new film is called Don Muthuswami and she plays Sanjana (what a shockingly original name), the daughter of the Don, played by Mithun Chakraborty.

“It was quite tough for me to get into the skin of my character called Sanjana in Don Muthuswamy, because a lot of drama and energy had to be invested in my role and hence I had to be on my feet all the time.

I am up in arms against my dad because I do not want to marry any of the tutors that he brings home with the fond hope that I will fall in love with any of them.”

Ok, I have a problem with the storyline already. Her father wants her to fall in love with tutors…when the typical Bollywood formula is that she falls in love with her tutor against the wishes of her father. Oh well, I guess this is why it’s a comedy.

One interesting point about Hrishitaa? She used to date Shahid Kapoor.

Mimoh Chakraborty is already costing directors

Posted by tigger in Mimoh Chakraborty, Mithun Chakraborty, Uncategorized

Heehee, isn’t that a cool picture? I love the net, there are so many ways you can make fun of people.

Most of you must have heard that Mimoh Chakraborty (son of Mithun Chakraborty) has been a huge failure in his debut movie Jimmy. The movie was slammed with reviews that look something like this:

Mimoh voice sounds girlish. His styling has gone all wrong. His dancing is the only saving grace but the songs have been badly shot. He needs to work very hard on his diction too. His co-star Vivana needs a crash course in acting. The rest of the cast isn’t worth a mention.

To sum things up, Jimmy is one of the worst movies in recent times.

Ouch! So it’s kinda understandable that his already-shot next movie is not making a big fuss over the fact that Mimoh is in it. The source reports,

“Producer Salim had planned to release The Murderer before Jimmy on January 25, 2008 along with Hrithik Roshan’s Jodhaa-Akbar. But Mimoh’s dad Mithun Chakraborty did not like it. He wanted Jimmy to release first and had requested them to hold on The Murderer for a later release date”

“The producers had also planned their publicity material and they were banking on Mithun’s son being the crowd puller. The earlier publicity material said, ‘Watch out for Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh in The Murderer.’ But after the failure of Jimmy, the producers have changed their mind. The new promos read ‘The makers of Loha, Batwara, Qayamat, Jigar, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Baazi, Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat and Badal - all Silver Jubilee hits, are ready with their next block buster The Murderer’. They are worried that Mimoh will no longer attract the audience since his debut venture failed miserably. They are trying to pull the audience with the names of their Silver Jubilee hit films instead.”

Honestly, how was Mimoh supposed to make it in Bollywood? He looks like Tarzan…Bollywood is more into Prince Charmings.
