Nope, I didn't put that picture up my mistake, it's supposed to be like that...seriously.
I'm not one of those people who believes in astrologers and numerology and stuff like that, but some people do and the producers of
Good Luck have decided that following astrologer's advice is the best way to make a movie into a success.
He advised them that putting up the movie posters and hoardings upside down will guarantee the success of the movie. So even if the actors and story are crap, the fact that the boards are upside-down will make the movie a hit...
Well, it might work a little if people are fascinated by the topsy-turvy posters and decide to watch the movie just because of that gimmick. I still doubt that though...

Yeah I know, this doesn't have much to do with Bollywood but this story is so entertaining, I have to put it in! I haven't done a miscellaneous story in ages, so here you go.
DJ/Producer Nawed Khan has produced some music in Bollywood such as
Don's 'Aaj Ki Raat' Remix and
Om Shanti Om 'Dastana' Remix, but that doesn't mean he actually knows what's going on outside of India. In other words, he is a plastic fan!
Football/Soccer fans know that Euro 2008 is coming up and it involves
National teams. When asked if he was looking forward to Euro 2008 after the IPL, he replied,
"I'm definitely looking forward to Euro 2008. I love to watch football with my DJ and VJ friends at sports bars. It's a good thing the IPL is over, so we won't miss these games. The format is more or less the same, so who enjoyed IPL would also like Euro 2008."
Yeah definitely, Euro matches are shortened versions of normal matches,
everyone knows that. The similarities are striking...in both sports, they use a ball!
"I'll be rooting for my favourite team, Manchester United. Rooney's my favourite player, so I'm especially looking forward to his games."
Wow, I guess I'm the only one that missed Manchester's partition from England and their qualifications into the Euro's, although they didn't play a single game in the qualifiers. If he can support ManU, then I'm definitely supporting Arsenal in Euro 2008 as well.
Go Gunners!

Hey Guys!
The
Bollywood blog that I write for has openings on its staff and it could be filled by you!
So here's the deal,
1) You have got to be a good writer and know the Bollywood industry, whether it's movies or actors.
2) You HAVE to have your own Bollywood blog (the higher the page rank, the better).
The job is pretty flexible, for bloggers interested in making some extra money. You'll make about $2-$5 a post. I don't want to go into too many details, but if you think you fulfill the requirements, then email Karen at bloggerswanted(at)gmail(dot)com. Quote SoggyCornflakes as your referral, you'll have a better chance ;-).
But if you threaten my job, I swear that I'll hunt you down and pull out your spinal cord through your mouth. You have been warned...now go apply!

Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd let you know, I'm guest-blogging on another website now. No, I haven't sold out to SoggyCornflakes :-) It's just a fun job which is basically an extension of this one. I'm just a bit funnier there.
For my first post,
Though it would also be great if you visited the actual website,
MovieZen.com. It's a great place for info on movies and actors (English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu), with fun quizzes and whatnot.
So I'll keep you updated on posts and you might see some content-links on SC coming from there. Just extra info for you guys (and extra money for me ;-))
Have a great weekend!

With all the fake drama and unrealistic storylines that Bollywood writers have managed to come up with before, now they're trying something novel. A love story (of course) set against the backdrop of a natural disaster. Like Titanic, without the big ship...just loads and loads of water.
Ujjal Chatterjee will be directing this epic, based on the tsunami that devastated Indonesia.
"It is the first of its kind in Bollywood wherein a film is made about a natural calamity and its effect on people's lives,"
"It focuses more on the global effects of tsunami and not just in India."
Ohkay...I would put a picture up of a tsunami or something, but I have a fear of bug scar waves. And seeing the potential death of 100s of people. Not my cup of tea.

Yes, you're probably wondering why I'm writing about people who nobody cares about and that's because, well, I just felt it was my duty to give these people their two minutes of fame on the site and...-snigger- Ok, I can't even type that with a straight face. Ther's just not alot of news doing the rounds today, so I'm doing my best here.
Yuvraj and Twinkle (Does anyone know who they are? Does anyone care?) are supposed to be actors in some serial
Betiyaan (Daughters), except that they do less mediocre acting and more attention whoring. The two supposedly play lovers but fight alot on set and their latest fight led to Yuvraj slitting his wrists.
Clever guy. This world isn't worth living in sometimes.
Oh, and the picture above? That's not some random girl...It's Twinkle whats-her-name...a random girl.

We're revamping the whole site, again. Yes, I know it will be alot of hard work and painful struggle, but we're doing it for you guys. -Sniff- We just love you guys so much! And I like this new theme more than the last one.
Anyways, just as we're being strong, you'll also have to be strong and put up with the changes that's happening and excuse any glitches in the theme or bad humour...wait, you always get bad humour. I'm sure you've all learned to deal with it by now.
Hopefully everything will be up and running brilliantly soon. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to whip the computer nerd doing the changes...faster you, faster! And don't tell me about kinky leather and whips...I already know! This is SoggyCornflakes after all.

Wow, Talat Jani must be a flippin' useless director if his son is willing to run away from his dad. As you can see, I'm kinda having a slow news day, that is why I am writing about stupid teenagers eloping...which is only very vaguely Bollywood connected.
So this dude has a 15 year old son, who has a 13 year old girlfriend and because the kid watched
Jeena Sirf Mere Liye (by Talat Jani) a few too many times, he decided to elope with his girlfriend. Their relationship wasn't accepted by the families, so the two love-birds decided to run away to a far-away city but then got scared and stayed in Mumbai for 2 days until their money ran out. I don't know about you guys, but I'm wiping the tears away here. I thought as generations passed, the children were getting smarter...but apparently not.
Poor kids, their lives will be a misery from this day on as school mates and everyone will laugh at their dumb-asses. I'm all up for love, but I really can't believe that a 15 year old knows anything about love beyond Harry Potter. Excuse me, I need more tissues, I'm laughing THAT hard.

Aamir Khan,

Who's Tinu Verma you ask? Yeah, I don't know either. All I know is that he's a Bollywood director (oh, and he's the flippin' ugly bad guy from the Aamir Khan flop film
Mela) and he's been accused of of assault by male model Vijay Mishra. Mishra says Verma beat him up with a beer bottle and punched him because Mishra was dancing with fellow model Meghana Patel.
Verma says Mishra is just trying to get publicity through him and no such incident took place, except that Vijay was hitting on one of the girls at the venue, she pushed him away and he fell because he was drunk.
You're probably wondering what side I'm going to take. Neither, they're both pathetic. The model is more interested in the best skin-care regime and his only fear while being assaulted was "My beautiful face!". The director is just another self-important prick who should shoot himself for being so butt-ugly. I think I made my point.
