Since I have readers who like Mallika Sherawat and since I like the readers, I won’t go on my sad insulting spree again. Tabu and Mallika have never acted together (as far as I know) but directors are now preferring the screen-siren over more demure Tabussam (Yup, that’s her real name).
The writer of Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam, Cheel, says:
“I’m a writer. So I know exactly how to place an actor into a character. Yes, Tabu was to do the role. But the way I look at it now, the role is perfect for Mallika. If Naseeruddin Shah had done ‘Black’ wouldn’t it have been different from the way Amitabh Bachchan played the character?”
Um, good point I guess. After the success of Pyar Ke Side Effects, directors are hoping that Mallika and Rahul Bose can light up the screen again. Mallika won’t be cast as her usual sex-bomb character either. Should be fun to see if she can pull this off.

There has been constant debate around the ages of Bollywood actresses, over the past couple of years. Most of the debate seemed to center around Mallika Sherawat. However it seems she’s not the only one with something to hide.
SantaBanta reports
This big question and controversy about Madame M’s real age just refuses to die down. There have always been contrary reports of her age in the media. At times she is 26-28 and at times 35-36. After almost succeeding in hiding her marriage, now it seems Mallika is hell bent on putting her real age under wraps.
Mallika is the front runner here, but she is not exactly alone. Bipasha Basu has convinced everyone that she is 28, while a school junior of hers from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Kolkata who is herself actually around that age says, “Bipasha was my senior in school and at least three years older than me. I don’t know how she suddenly cut down so many years”. That makes dear old Bips almost 31!
Wannabe sex kitten and queen of sleazy cinema Sheryln Chopra claims to be only 22, where as sources claim otherwise. ‘Sherlyn has been 22 for many years now”, jokes a source.
I guess when you’re young you’re treated differently. When your under 30 and dancing around semi-nude you’re hot. But when you’re 30 plus, you become a desperate whore… And seeing that two of the above have no talent to speak of (I’m still undecided about Bipasha), their only oute to fame was the “hottie” factor.
These budday have it tough!

I didn’t even know Sameera Reddy was in Fool and Final, but apparently she has an extended cameo appearance.
She talks about the role and other things on SantaBanta. She also talks about her role in Race, which was supposed to be Mallika Sherawat’s. She very matter-of-factly states:
“It might have been [Mallika's role]. But now it’s mine. And that’s what counts.”
Well said. I wonder if this will lead to a cat-fight. Please be a cat-fight, please be a cat-fight! That’s the only thing I get pleasuire from nowadays…that, and seeing Shahid in Fool and Final.

And why should anyone be surprised at that news? Himesh Reshammiya is kinda gross, seriously. I doubt Mallika Sherawat has become prudish though, but she did put a no-kissing clause in her contract. Though I think thats because of Himesh. I’d want to have the law on my side to if I was expected to kiss Himesh.
This will be Himesh’s debut film, and its a passionate (read: whory) love story between Himesh and co-star Hansika Motwani. Mallika had the no-kissing clause written into the contract allegedly because she felt that her character didn’t need to kiss Himesh’s and so it shouldn’t be expected.
I still maintain that Himesh is gross and Mallika did it so she wouldn’t have to go near his hairy ass.

Mallika Sherawat is going to check if the grass really is greener on the other side after having a few tastes of Hollywood cinema. The Bollywood bombshell is thinking about relocating to the States and is hoping to start a proper career there.
“What’s wrong in going global?†Mallika starts the conversation defending her act, “It’s important to explore newer horizons. Why confine oneself to one place? Don’t cricketers compete on a global platform? So why shouldn’t actors?â€
The rumors [quitting Hindi movies] are true? “I am not quitting Bollywood. I owe my name, fame, everything to Hindi movies. It has given me tremendous respect, something I cannot deny. But at the same time, I am in no mood to accept itsy-bitsy roles in Hindi films. Why should I? Give me roles of substance and I wouldn’t complain. Didn’t I accept PYAAR KE SIDE/EFFECTS with a new director [Saket Chaudhary]? My next film [FAUJ MEIN MAUJ] is not a multi-crore film again. The script has to be tempting, otherwise I am not interested,†she speaks her mind.
Mallika is staying, yay! She’ll be there plying her trade all over the world, so good for her. Why do some actors/actresses think that they’re serious business when they’re usually just hired to see how much skin they can expose? That’s like me thinking that I write on SoggyCornflakes because I’m not flaming hot…you think I write here because of my brains? You wish!

Mallika Sharawat, the most over-rated slut of Bollywood, is acting in a new Hollywood movie. I’ll give a massage to anyone who can tell me what kind of role she’s playing…too late! No-one’s enjoying these babies but me! Anyways, she’s playing a whore, shocker!
Her role in the movie Unvieled is a thriller based on the life of a Muslim woman who has two husbands and a lover. Sherawat says:
“She has a lot of flaws and her morals are questionable but she is a very normal person…She is not a shadow behind the burqa and she is very sexyâ€
A normal person? In which galaxy? That is not normal by any person’s standards, except maybe a porn star’s and apparently, Mallika’s. And Mallika, thank you for your very subtle ‘my character is sexy and so am I’ thought. Ever thought “My character is a whore and so am I Think about it.
