Guess what? Until now, the World Tour is still the 'Bachchan' tour as actors have been signing up...and pulling out ac quickly as possible. Last time we heard, Akshay Kumar had some difficulty with dates...he's out, maybe...unless they pay him more. Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor would rather not see each other's faces on the same stage and they're out too. Lara Dutta wasn't interested in competing with Ash and skipped out. Bipasha Basu apparently has a hefty price-tag and you've guessed it, she's out too. I wonder if there's a record for how many times you can write "out" in a paragraph. While the concept of family togetherness is great, I don't think that's what the world tour is about...organisers are still looking for the actress that can play second fiddle to Aishwarya Rai and have decided on Preity Zinta. Hmmm, I guess when you're unemployed (Preity isn't doing any movies at the moment, is she?) even prancing on stage sounds like fun. And I'm out of here for today...more tomorrow!

Guys, today I have loads of work, so unfortunately, there'll just be a few quick updates and I'm out of here for the day. Today's Lara Dutta's birthday...she turns...old? But Lara has loads of stuff happening, that a birthday is just another day to celebrate. Lara will acting with Shah Rukh Khan in Billoo Barber and the remake of Devdas later on in the year...wait, aren't they already making that with Abhay Deol? I'm confused. In response to reports that Lara is dating Dino Morea, she insists that her true love story involves her and a cup off coffee.

“No, I and Dino are not in a relationship,” “Dino is a good friend of both me and Kelly. We used to hang out together. I am very fond of him and that’s it.”

And the coffee? Lara has become a fan of Gloria Jean's Coffee...but apparently, she isn't the brand ambassador so why does she keep going on about how great it is? See, this is what happens when you get old...a cup of coffee is now fascinating!

So why am I telling you now? I honestly don't know. Unless you live somewhere in Europe or North America, this doesn't concern you. The group contains the Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya, with tag-alongs Ritesh Deshmukh and Lara Dutta. Now you know this is just a huge publicity stunt for the Bachchans, showing off their "simple, happy family even though we're so rich". For those who wanna see them, it kicks off in Toronto and will continue for two months through Europe and America. Yippee?

Things aren't looking so good for Arshad Warsi...yeah, he's making a movie but he can't find a director to direct or a co-star who wants to act with him. Now that's just really mean...why wouldn't you want to act with Arshad? He's funny! That's the best personality trait in anyone. But Arshad's problems lie with finding a co-star...recently, Lara Dutta walked out of the production when she found out that Arshad was supposed to be her love interest. So she's saying that short, funny people can never be heroes? Short, funny people don't deserve to be loved and respected on and off-screen? Do they not have hopes and dreams? Then what is Shahid Kapoor doing on-screen?

Hmmm, not film stuff? Maybe something to do with cricket...or TV...or both! -Shock- The failing/failed actor is slightly harder, since most C-list actors are in that list.

All this, behind her beau's back, who, again has a knack for being in the news for various reasons.

Why is he famous? For being a successful businessman, dating a Bollywood actress or being the great-grandson of one of the guys who shaped the subcontinent?

So, who is this privileged actor you ask? Well, he is the same guy who has been linked to another leggy actress, who recently broke up with her long-time boyfriend and live-in partner.

The next Unforgettable tour will involve Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and maybe Jaya Bachchan as well. Oh, and Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta and Ritesh Deshmukh, but they're not important. This is the latest in the publicity stunt that's the Bachchan family. This tour has been postponed since 2007, as it initially involved Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, but both pulled out due to other commitments. The main question is, is this Ash's way of bowing out of Bollywood for a while, like her mother-in-law before her, to raise a family? Doesn't really make a lot of sense though, since Ash refuses to get fat, homely and knocked up. Oh wait, maybe she can't get pregnant. Nice juicy piece of gossip that would be. Ok guys, spread the news. Aishwarya Rai is barren.

As the A-List of Bollywood flock to the premiere. Besides the cast of the movie, most of Bollywood's old families were there, including Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Akshaye Khanna, Kangana Ranaut, Diya Mirza, Lara Dutta, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Sushmita Sen, Soha Ali Khan and Siddharth. Guess who wasn't there? Obviously the cast of Om Shanti Om, who were a bit too busy getting ready for their own premiere. Too have a looksy as all the stars, click here. Awww, don't they all look pretty. It's like a wedding...without the yummy food and no one is getting screwed for life. Just joking...I love weddings. I'm not sure if I want to be the one getting married just yet though. The storyline...which wasn't particularly clear before sounds a bit Romeo and Juliet-esque to me. Like the star-crossed lovers and madness stemming from rejection. At least they didn't kill themselves...I hope they didn't do that. I hate sad movies. Fun fact: Saif and Kareena were holding on for dear life...and Shahid was there too.

While all Aishwarya Rai fans collapse in tears, we can all discuss whether Lara Dutta can be a decent Paro or not in the remake of Devdas. Well, it's not a proper remake, it's a modernised version, which sounds alot more interesting than the older ones. I love classics but new ideas are also nice. The updated version will be called Aur Devdas and so far there's no word on who'll be playing Devdas. Who do you think will still look cute when he's drunk and heartbroken? Lara will be playing Paro, an investment banker and Soha Ali Khan is a hopeful to play Chandramukhi, who'll be a politician. Lara says:

Lara Dutta’s trip to the UK for an awards ceremony proved to be more than just a fun trip. The leggy actor was invited by the Medical Aid Association in the UK to speak in the House of Commons on human trafficking. She claims to have had a great experience speaking in front of the ministers and not only this but she also got an opportunity to visit the Queen’s Gate. Lara readily agreed when the association asked her to actively contribute against human trafficking. Lara said that she will provide her complete support for such a serious concern and that she would love to make use of her celebrity status for such a noble cause. Before this, Lara also has been associated with the UN for working towards global causes.

Former Miss Universe, Lara Dutta, has written a script! And for a movie too! A real movie! Not a porno or nuffink'! After deciding that her acting career wasn't enough of a flop, she has penned a comedic script. When asked why she hid her so-called "Talent" for so long? she replied, “There were two reasons – one, that I was not being able to decide in what format would I want to express my creativity i.e., whether I wanted to write a novel, write poetry or what. It was quite later that I zeroed in on writing a script and when I decided upon that, I didn’t want to talk about it till the script was developed to a good extent, which it has now and hence I’m talking about it." When people told her that she doesn't really look, the "funny" type she said, “Why is that so?! It’s wrong to judge someone just from what they have essayed on screen. I love comedy! Though most people find it difficult to believe that I have a good comic streak, fact is, I do! That is what explains my presence in films like ‘No Entry’ and ‘Bhaagam Bhaag’ and now David Dhawan’s ‘Partner’, which is a complete laugh-riot. In fact, through ‘No Entry’, I think my comic skill was very much exposed; so, it comes as quite a surprise that people should still feel amazed by the fact that I have penned a comedy." You know I agree with Lara. The fact that she thought drivel like, "No Entry" and "Bhagam Bhag" constitute comedy, indicates that she does indeed have a sense of humour. Comedy Gold! Either that or she's completely insane.
