There's nothing like a bit of sibling rivalry to keep a family together. Hey guys, once again, sorry for the lack of posts, what can I say? I have a very bad feeling that my workload isn't going to decrease until September, so please bear with me.

Deepika Padukone, star of Bachna Ae Haseeno and Chandni Chowk to China, is going home to Bangalore to visit family, who she hasn't seen in almost 3 years. She continues to talk about her sister, who I think is a professional golfer.

"My sister is five years younger to me. I sometimes envy my sister. She has gone into sports, like my father. And she gets to play golf professionally. That's a unique position for a 19-year to be in. Acting seems rather ordinary in comparison."

Yeah, because anyone can act. Like seriously, what is Katrina Kaif doing in the industry? Deepika's sister has also been given a chance to act in films but has declined and Deepika tells us,

"That's right she has been offered a Kannada film. But she's absolutely not interested in a film career. One actress in the family is enough,"

Or maybe because the Kannada film didn't star Shah Rukh Khan?

Well, they've been going on for a while now, but have changed a bit.

Kareena Kapoor was planning a big bash for Saif Ali Khan, inviting all the big names in the industry to wish Saif a very Happy 39th birthday. Man, he's coming real close to the big 40. But after the debacle that happened at Katrina Kaif's birthday, Bebo decided that maybe quiet was better.

It was quite diplomatic of her since Saif is good friends with both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, and by turning the party into a small and intimate function, she's taken them both off the guest list. Maybe Bebo's not raking in the cash however, because when she was asked what she's getting for Saif, she said,

"I have not figured out a material gift for him yet. I have given him so much of my time — I think that’s my biggest gift to him."

Cheapskate.

Once again, apologies for not updating...busy...blah blah...too much work...blah blah blah. You should know all my excuses by now.

Today's stories are about break-ups, and this one in particular is about Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif...otherwise known as 'the couple that never were'. So technically, the two lovebirds can never really break up.

The infamous Shah Rukh and Salman fight has set Kat off, with her finding many other faults in her career-making boyfriend. Katrina is disgusted by Salman's petulant behaviour and apparently, Salman isn't too pleased with Kat himself.

At the start of their relationship and Kat's career, she took advice only from Salman, on which movies she would act in and with which co-stars. Now that she's a name all on her own, she has stopped going to Salman for advice and has even ignored his suggestions.

And Salman has spoken out about his fight, basically saying that he won't comment on it and the press can continue to act like dogs chasing a car...something like that.

I guess Salman really needs to be wanted before he feels love. That's so not healthy.

Hiya all. What can I say whenever I avoid a day or two if updating? My workload has increased unbelievably this semester, I don't always have time to update anymore. Even today, I'm only uploading a few stories. And yes, I'm waffling to make this story look longer than it actually is.

Right now, I'm listening to the Bachna Ae Haseeno songs, which kinda suck...except maybe 'Jogi Mahi'. Anyways, today's story is about Katrina Kaif and how she prefers to remain quiet, even though Singh is Kingg is due to be released soon.

Well, her tongue is selectively busy. She's more than willing to discuss Akshay Kumar and their new movie, but she won't talk about the events of her birthday, whether Salman threw her the part, and especially, whether Salman and Shah Rukh fought.

"I'm a professional and have a big film to talk about. Of course I will. In fact I have a media interaction lined up in a few days for the promotion of Singh Is Kinng".

"But if any journalist wants to ask me about that fight on my birthday party, please don't bother."

Awww, don't be like that Kat! We wanna know what happened!

Finally, pics are back up. That doesn't mean I'm a wordpress genius, just means I got lazy of trying and used another source for the photos. If the pics are a bit blurry or something...I don't know why! But at least they're back up!

So happy Monday all, I hope you had a brilliant weekend. Mine was extremely relaxing, except now I have to catch up on all the work I didn't do over the weekend. Maybe it's just me, but campus got a lot harder this semester!

So the latest story today, and to add another twist to the Katrina Kaif birthday fiasco, is that boyfriend Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan started bickering during the party. When will these guys ever grow up?

Even though the fight sounded very petty, it seems that Bollywood is breaking apart down the middle, with Shah Rukh supporters and Sallu supporters. It seems that Salman first took aim at Shah Rukh with a bottle of champagne and Shah Rukh retaliated with an evian water and even Aamir Khan got involved with a bottle of oil, so he could pour oil on troubled waters...get it? Heehee...Ok, I'm sugar high. Bad joke.

Salman did start the fight though, by comparing the ratings of 'Dus Ka Dum' and "Paanchvi Pass' and laughed at King Khan for not even pulling decent ratings. SRK was supposedly silent for most of the attack, until he retorted by saying something about Ash, which set Salman off again. And Aamir did try to intervene, to no avail. Unfortunately, there weren't any eyewitnesses, so no one can tell me if they had a food fight or not.

So now Salman's and Shah Rukh's supporters are coming up from the woodwork, with actors such as Fardeen and Zayed Khan, Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor all throwing in their lot with him and directors like Sajid Khan, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Yash Chopra supposedly siding with Shah Rukh.

Honestly, I don't care who wins, as long as there's a Bollywood-wide food-fight!

I've been reading so many conflictiing stories about Katrina Kaif's recent birthday, I'm very confused.

So let's go over things so we can make some sense out of them:

Scenario 1) Salman Khan threw the party for Katrina in a surprising burst of affection...

Scenario 2) Salman didn't throw the party for Katrina, he barely made it and Katrina left the party in a huff because of his late arrival (backed up with pictures of a very pissed off-looking Kat)

Scenario 3) Salman threw the party and invited Aamir Khan as well, and at the end of the night, proposed to Kat in front of everyone. No idea whether she accepted or not but the dodgy source says that it was a very romantic gesture.

So which one do you believe?

Katrina Kaif has been immortalized in gold, and is now apparently worth $10 000. Well, the magazine cover that she's on is.

Lemme start from the beginning, since I don't think I'm making much sense. 'Kohl' is a recently launched magazine catering for Indian women and has created the world's most expensive magazine cover, valued at $10 000 because it has 91 grams of gold and is encrusted with 622 diamonds. Katrina is the celebrity that is featured on the cover, which was designed by UAE-based Damas.

The cover will be sold for charity with money being donated to a pediatric hospital.

Katrina says,

"I am very proud and excited to be involved with this project,"

"it is a wonderful idea and all for a very worthwhile cause,"

I guess it is, since the price of gold being where it is, they should make a decent amount.

Does it count if she influences me to hate her more?

Magazine Verve has done a feature article on the 50 most influential women in India. While it isn't a competition, just profiles on the 50 ladies, did they not have enough people to put in the list or was the writer on crack?

While I understand why women like Sonia Ghandi and Parmeshwar Godrej (she's a philanthropist, yes, I looked it up) have made it on the list, why is Kareena there? Why is Gauri Khan there? Yes, these women play a role in the entertainment industry, but it's not like they're even actors/philanthropists like Angelina or Bono. The fact that Katrina Kaif also made the list seems to be an insult to India...or is that just me?

I don't get this list. Anyways, Kareena appears on the cover of this months issue. Here's the idea for next month's feature: Most over-exposed celebrities...Kareena can appear on that cover too.

Even though Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have become a successful screen jodi, other people may not like their closeness, especially Akki's wife Twinkle Khanna.

Apparently Twinkle's coldness towards Katrina has led to Akki's avoidance of Kat and missing her calls at the IIFA awards.

Katrina says that all these rumours are crap,

“People need to stop imagining so much. This is pure imagination on someone's part. Akshay Kumar came in for the show in the night and left right after as he had a flight to catch.

I had dinner with Twinkle and some of her friends after that and even my mom was with me. So what's with these stories?”

Well, there's never smoke without a fire...

Although the question is, is Katrina Kaif ready to get married or will he spring up with a surprise mail order bride? Yeah, that doesn't make sense but the story is boring. The only way I can spice up the story is by adding mail-order brides.

Salman Khan recently gave an interview, discussing new TV show "Dus Ka Dum" (Power of 10) and his love life...he has a very interesting view, self-deprecating at times and arrogance to rival Shah Rukh Khan's at others.

So you are comfortable hosting this show? Oh certainly. It also does not require the host to be very intelligent. I think they got the right person to host this show. (Winks)

Is that confidence? See, I might not be the best host but I don’t think anyone else could have done this job better. I will do pretty much the same thing…acting and I know that is the only thing I can do to my best ability.

And what about SRK giving you some handy tips on hosting this show? (He...he…he…pauses…ha...ha…ha….) How could that even come to your mind? Why will he give me tips? And why should I take tips from him?

Ouch.

Tell me honestly…are you confident that this show will be a hit? Yes I am. I know my fan following and I have left everything to them. They turned so many of my bad films into hits, so I am sure they will make this show a hit too.

What about the idea of calling SRK on the show and make him play with you? I haven’t thought of it.

But he called you on KBC. Wasn’t that a great episode? I think that was the best episode. I am sure no other episode of KBC was as popular as was the one where I was there. It was a brilliant episode and I enjoyed it. But I haven’t decided on calling Shah Rukh yet. I have my favourites like Sanjay Dutt whom I would love to have on this show.

I bet you some irresponsible blogger or journalist will twist those words and make it sound like Salman and SRK aren't getting along. So don't you think those insults are thinly veiled? Salman is jealous of Shah Rukh's experience and success on TV and is too proud to take advice from him. See how easy it is?

When asked about his personal life,

Okay…when are you getting married? Someday very soon…

Very soon? Yes, it will happen as and when it happens but one thing is sure that I will get married. I also have my duties towards my parents. They are getting old and who doesn’t want to see his son or daughter get married. I will definitely marry because it’s a beautiful thing to happen.

So will Salman, like his dad, have more than one beautiful thing at a time?
