When Kangana Ranaut needs advice, guess who she goes to? Fashion co-star Priyanka Chopra who's apparently giving the younger actress advice on how to become a more successful actress.

Do Bollywood actors get really bored on sets or do they get some kick out of playing random pranks on their co-stars? Now it's Emraan Hashmi who pulled out his '101 practical jokes book'. On the sets of Raaz 2, he played a prank on his spiritual co-star Kangana Ranaut. He set up an Ouija board and poor Kangana was convinced that spirits were present when the board moved.

Now she's completely freaked out and said in a recent interview,

"I believe in God but at the same time also believe that there are evil spirits around and am scared of them. I think I have become more God fearing now. I don't miss my prayers ever since I started shooting for Raaz 2 lest someone possess me. The very thought scares me to my wits."

"I belong to a family who believes and prays to God but the film has definitely made me more spiritual"

Raaz 2 deals with paranormal subjects and Emraan took further advantage of the spooky atmosphere by visiting Kangana in the middle of the night, knocking on her door and then running away. Now Kangana has taken to avoiding Emraan, which sounds hilarious. Imagine Kangana as a bag of nerves, jumping at the slightest sounds, looking at Emraan suspiciously all the time, running away when he tries to talk to her.

Mature really, but I'd probably be doing the same to freak out superstitious friends. It's like they ask for it.

While Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja hope that Love Story 2050 will be a hit, they may be hoping that they both flop for their next movies.

Ironically enough, their films following LS2050 are set for the same release date so Harman and Priyanka will be facing off, to see who can bring the most crowds into the cinema's. Harman's Victory and Priyanka's Fashion are both to be released 14th November and it looks like it was director Ajit Pal who pulled the trigger as Fashion had already set it's release date several weeks ago. Hmmm, or maybe Harman heard about it from Priyanka and told Ajit who decided to make a competition out of it?

Victory is about a young cricketer from a rural area who strives to become a successful cricketer for himself and his father (Anupam Kher). Harman's leading lady is Amrita Rao and cricketers such as Brett Lee and Brian Lara are set to make cameo appearances.

Fashion is a story about the fashion world, focusing on cat-walk models and not much else is known about it. Kangana Ranaut also stars with Priyanka and Karan Johar and designer Manish Malhotra will be making cameo appearances.

Which one will you be watching?

Kangana Ranaut loves all people of course, expect those lower than her. Not physically of course, because then she can just look down at the seven dwarves but she will make her subordinates pay for any mistakes. Recently, her driver accidentally hit the car in front of him while driving Kangana around. While she simmered in quiet anger she waited until they reached the set before calling him to her trailer and slapping him...hard. Now the driver is pissed and has pressed charges against her. And if it wasn't enough, Kangana's sister and her make-up man hit him as well. That's sad...being hit by a teenager, her sister and the gay make-up artist. Well, it's likely that he's gay...but going back to the point. Deputy commissioner of Police Vinay Choube says of the story,

"The driver has registered a case against Kangana, her sister Rangoli Ranaut and her make-up man,"

And Kangana is in trouble...that makes me smile.

Priyanka Chopra has good ideas of the healthy body... We're proud of her, and by "We" I mean my teddy bear and I. What? It's not like I can ignore his opinion...he's part of the family! And if I ignore him, he bonks me on the head. But I know he's only doing it because he loves me. That's the only reason why guy's hit girls, because they love us. And if you believe that bit of crap, then I suggest I give you the number of my psychologist. And now back to things that matter, Bollywood! Priyanka Chopra says that she's not getting toned so she can get into a bikini for Karan Johar's new movie. She just likes being healthy.

"It isn't about getting thin at all. It's just about toning my body. I do not endorse anorexic figures. I don't think you need to be reed-thin to be beautiful. I think Indian women look terrible when they try to get anorexic. We Indian women naturally healthy. And by that I don't mean hispanically voluptuous. But yes, we've been given a certain kind of figure. We're well–proportioned and aesthetically endowed in all the right places. And by getting exceptionally thin we're going against Nature."

That's deep...Priyanka also talks about her relationship with co-star Kangana Ranaut in Fashion,

"We got along really well. I really think she's sweet. When Madhur decided to cast Kangana I was so happy. She really really suits her part…. So the other story that really bugs is that we're fighting over scenes in Fashion. On the contrary we've a lot of fun together."

Female co-stars that don't fight...what a refreshing change. It's like seeing me not blowing up buildings for the fun of it. It's hard to quit when you've started, try it.

Kangana Ranaut is lucky that she hasn't been picked up by the censor board and other decency laws in India for doing a 'nude' photo shoot recently in a film magazine. You know, except they couldn't really get her for that since she wasn't actually nude.

“What's the big deal about the picture? Are any of my vital organs seen? I haven't posed nude at all. These days one doesn’t need to. Body suits are available readily in the market,” "It was for an annual issue and we just tried doing something different. In my profession, one has to do different kinds of photo shoots. I fail to understand why such a big deal is made about a normal picture.”

And just to do the annoying thing when I correct people's grammar or usage of words...vital organs are the stuff on the inside, e.g. heart, brains etc,. so unless you were posing for an autopsy photo shoot, it's unlikely anyone would see any of those. Kangana is quite bored these days, she doesn't have any movies in the pipeline, so she spends her days meditating, reading and wondering why she doesn't have a boyfriend, so she poses in raunchy photo shoots to get one. Do I sound bitter? Maybe, possibly I am...she's younger than me! No fair!

As the A-List of Bollywood flock to the premiere. Besides the cast of the movie, most of Bollywood's old families were there, including Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Akshaye Khanna, Kangana Ranaut, Diya Mirza, Lara Dutta, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Sushmita Sen, Soha Ali Khan and Siddharth. Guess who wasn't there? Obviously the cast of Om Shanti Om, who were a bit too busy getting ready for their own premiere. Too have a looksy as all the stars, click here. Awww, don't they all look pretty. It's like a wedding...without the yummy food and no one is getting screwed for life. Just joking...I love weddings. I'm not sure if I want to be the one getting married just yet though. The storyline...which wasn't particularly clear before sounds a bit Romeo and Juliet-esque to me. Like the star-crossed lovers and madness stemming from rejection. At least they didn't kill themselves...I hope they didn't do that. I hate sad movies. Fun fact: Saif and Kareena were holding on for dear life...and Shahid was there too.

Kangana Ranaut's new movie Fashion will pitch her against Priyanka Chopra. She isn't very worried though, even though this is the first time that she's had to share a lead with another actress. Priyanka also has a better record than her with stealing the screen from co-stars, but Kangana is playing it very cool.

"Barring Anurag Basu's 'Metro', most of my films have been solo-heroine films revolving around my character. This is the first time I'm co-starring with another actress. I'm not insecure about it. Why should I be? Priyanka and I have distinct personalities and that's why Madhur has signed us to play the two very different characters,"

She isn't planning to start any catfights however and sees the role as a new experience. How very mature of her.

"It'd be healthy competition. We'll both do our best. A film shouldn't be like a kabaddi competition. "And moreover Priyanka is not one of those actresses who has catfights on the sets or walks off because...bhalaa uski kameez meri kameez se zyada safed kyon hai! She is very secure in her space as I am in mine. 'Fashion' is the first film I've signed in the last six months. I choose my roles according to what suits my personality."

Um, ok, I don't get the Hindi part properly. Priyanka doesn't walk off sets because her top isn't any white than Kangana's? I thought this was a movie, not a washing soap commercial. Help, someone!

Lot's of crap today, so I'll be updating later on in the day as well. Let's talk Bollywood! Yay! Um, no-one call the police please, I'm not on drugs, I'm just really happy and you can't begrudge a girl some joy. Anyways, Kangana Ranaut hasn't been in the news for a while, but now she's in there because of a visit to her great grandfather. Yes, very exciting news I'm sure. Are you guys strapped into your seats? Good, you should be safe, in case you fall asleep. Kangana tells us the story:

"I was told to immediately come and see my 100-year old great grandfather. I presumed the worst and immediately left my dubbing for Anurag Basu's Metro to attend to my great-grandfather (my father's grandfather) only to be told that the old man is fine. They just wanted me to visit him." "He wasn't talking or eating much. Since I was his favourite great grand-daughter my father immediately called me. So here I am, taking an unscheduled holiday much to Anurag Basu's annoyance. Unfortunately my sister isn't allowed to fly because of her health problems. I had to leave her behind in Mumbai with my best friend."

Kangana is also living the simple life, reading the works of a Swami that promotes simple living. So she's given up on spicy food and boyfriends, wow, that kind of Indian doesn't like spicy food? Though she does say that if she got a boyfriend, he would be her age:

"It's very embarrassing to be linked with men who are much older. Please, when I do have a boyfriend he'd be someone I can look in eye, not look up to."

Ya, whatever. While I do think dating a much older man is quite gross, there's nothing wrong with respecting your boyfriend. And I'd rather that he was taller than me so I could look up to him. Guess she wants a guy as short as her.

It's a very boring news day today and this might be the most interesting story doing the rounds. After India returned from the Twenty20 tournament successfully, the annoying midget that is Sreesanth was offered a role in Bollywood, which he's kinda interested in. But as the track record for cricket players becoming actors go, things are not looking up for the bowler. While he's been discouraged from taking any role, actresses were asked if they would ever work with him. Responses ranged all over, but the last one is my favourite. Celina Jaitley: “Sure, one never knows where a star can appear from.” Nandana Sen: “If Sreesanth plays his character as well as he plays cricket, why wouldn’t I want to be paired with him?” Malaika Arora: “If that movie also stars Mammoothy, then I’d rather co-star with Mammoothy.” Amrita Arora: “I’m a Malyaleee too, so why not?” Neetu Chandra: “I’d rather see him concentrate on cricket and win laurels for India than join movies.” Kangana Ranaut: “Me and Sreesanth? Why not? Sreesanth could be as good as an actor as a cricketer.” Gul Panag: “Sorry, but I’m foggy about who Sreesanth is. Does he play cricket?” If Sreesanth starts acting, I'm giving up Bollywood!
