Here’s a contestant from Indian Idol. I don’t think he can sing but he can do an awesome Hrithik Roshan impression. His Shahid Kapoor and Aamir Kahn imitations aren’t bad either.

You know what’s worse than making out with your wife in front of your parents? Making out with someone else who isn’t your wife in front of your parents.
Hrithik Roshan may be able to jump between trees and fight fire but when it comes to his dad, he’s a bit shy. Shooting for his new movie Kites with Brazilian model Barbara Mori, Hrithik and Barbara had a sensual scene to shoot. Those kinds of scenes are awkward enough as it is but when Rakesh Roshan was on set, Hrithik couldn’t shoot at all.
So director Anurag Basu asked Rakesh to leave before the shooting could carry on.
Wow, so Hrithik called Suzanne all the way to Las Vegas see him make out with a model. Mean.
Hrithik Roshan is currently in Las Vegas shooting for his next movie Kites but being so far away from home is taking a toll on the actor.
Even though Rakesh Roshan is there with his son, Hrithik was desperately missing his wife and kids and so, recently asked them to come to Las Vegas to keep him company. Suzanne Roshan, being the obedient wife that she is, soon came.
A source reports,
“His shooting stint was supposed to get over by September end but due to the disruption caused by hurricane Ike in New Mexico, the unit lost 15 days and the shooting schedule had to be extended to October 15.”
“Hrithik had already begun to miss his family a lot, especially his kids. He expressed his desire to get them to Las Vegas and Roshan Sr. arranged for the tickets immediately. Last week, his wife Suzanne along with both their kids flew to Las Vegas to join Hrithik.”
Suzanne doesn’t need to worry about Hrithik being alone with a Brazilian actress. A few more days of shooting and they’ll eventually be back in India to complete the last of the shooting with the movie scheduled to release in May 2009.
Hrithik Roshan is a method actor and even if he has to research history (Jodha-Akbar), practice on wires (Krissh) or hunt out aliens (Koi…Mil Giya), he’ll do it! Ok, I may be exaggerating the alien part but the point is, Hrithik works hard to make his characters work.
Now his new role in Kites involves Hrithik playing an American-Indian (is that even a classification?) and to get it right, he’s learning how to speak English in an American accent. He’s getting special lessons and an instructor is teaching him how to achieve the perfect American twang.
Kill me, kill me now before I have to listen to that. No offense to any Americans on this blog (please don’t hate me) but most Americans have very annoying accents…on the other hand, South African accents can be annoying too. Is it OK to insult other people if you insult yourself as well?

What’s the biggest selling point about Love Story 2050? The science-fiction story line? The debut of Harman Baweja? The possible fact that Harman and co-star Priyanka Chopra may actually be dating in real life? The other possible fact that Harman has a striking resemblance to Hrithik Roshan?
Harman is trying very hard to make sure that the last two points aren’t the reason that people come to watch the movie. I don’t know why he’s complaining though, because bigger audiences are better, no matter why they’re there.
Harman is still busy dubbing the movie, even though it’s getting released in exactly a month from today. He has a voice expert who listens to his dubbing, and if he has ay inflections or tone in his voice that sounds like someone else, he has to redo the dialogue. That sucks…
Harman is also worried that his connection with Priyanka is hurting the publicity of the movie, and a source reports,
“Harman has a great deal of self-respect. He’d never want to be known by being associated with anyone else more famous and recognizable than him.
In fact Kajol and Ajay Devgan were supposed to launch the music of Love Story 2050. Harman’s father decided against it at the last minute.
Harry Baweja in fact rang up his colleague Kumar Mangat and advised him not to allow Kajol and Ajay’s presence to overshadow his daughter at the music launch of Haal-e-Dil. That’s how self-respecting the Bawejas are.”
“He has now decided to seriously cut down if not entirely do away with public appearances with Priyanka. Of course she will be part of all the Love Story 2050 promotion. But Harman is refusing offers for magazine covers and guest appearances on reality shows with Priyanka.”
I guess you could say that Harman wants to make it on his own. but there’s also an undercurrent of paranoia. Whoohoo, I can spread a new rumour…Harman Baweja is going crazy…kidding.
Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra recently went on Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass se Tez Hai’ and surprisingly, didn’t do all that badly.
The pair won 50 Lakh rupees (5 million), which they donated to a charity straight after the show and the video below is a news story about the show, and the first time I think I’ve heard Harman’s voice. He really did have a striking resemblance to Hrithik in the show.
Since Love Story 2050 is due out soon, Harman is really on the publicity trail as he tries to get audiences into the cinema’s. A source talks about the show,
“The couple got all their questions right, except the last one which asked “Which is the largest state of India”? However, Harman was a little bit nervous on the sets of thr show, he could not help but laugh; while Priyanka was seen in a jolly mood. The couple as usual looked great together, and had the audiences floored with their presence”
While we continue to wait for Love Story 2050 to come out, there are so many Harman Baweja stories out there…I feel bad for shoving them at you every day. So here, you can watch the promo clip of one of his Love Story 2050 songs that has started comparisons of him with Hrithik Roshan.
I guess he’s quite good but that little bit in the end with the hands and wagging hips was so not cool. At least Hrithik and Shahid always look good when they’re doing their moves. So my not so humble opinion is that he’s good, one of the better dancers in Bollywood but he still has to push Hrithik and Shahid Kapoor off their pedestals. What you think?
You remember when Dhoom 2 came out and everyone made such a big fuss over the fact that Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai kissed in it? Well, Rakesh Roshan is trying hard to make sure that doesn’t happen again. There will be no namby-pamby is his home productions!
Ok, whole story is that Hrithik Roshan will be working with Barbara Mori in a new rom-com titled Kites. It’s being produced by Rakesh and directed by Anurag Basu and apparently, the two are not seeing eye to eye. Anurag wants a kiss in the movie while Rakesh is vehemently opposed to it.
A source reports,
“All of Anurag’s films are real. He doesn’t shy away from portraying intimacy on screen.
Most of his films have had intimate scenes and he believes the same holds true for Kites.
Rakesh Roshan isn’t too sure if Basu’s treatment will work for Kites. He isn’t too comfortable with the prospect of his son kissing another woman in his home production. The two have been arguing over the issue.”
I know this may come as a shocking revelation, but maybe they want to ask Hrithik and Barbara what they want. It’s always a bit dodgy to have a kiss in an Indian movie but since the movie is about communicating through body language, maybe it could work.
The story in Kites revolves around an Indian man and a Spanish woman who don’t understand each other at all, so the movie and drama relies on body language and expressions…so this is a movie about miming?
Well, Hrithik Roshan is a father again and finally, the name of his new baby boy is released. The poor kid has been saddled with the name Hridhaan. I never even knew the name existed but apparently all of Hrithik’s kids will have the name beginning with ‘Hr’.
Here is Suzanne Roshan with her new baby and her father reports,
“Hrithik’s bundle of joy is called Hridhaan. The name means ‘great heart’. By God’s grace, both mother and baby are doing fine.”
So here’s my theory on their names. Suzanne picks a name and Hrithik picks a name and then they compromise. So for Hrehaan, Suzanne picked “Rehaan” while Hrithik yelled “Hrithik Jr.!”. This time, Suzanne picked “Ridwaan” and Hrithik again yells out “Hrithik Jr.!” so we end up with Hridhaan.
