You know what's a good way to stay awake? Sing really, really loud and off-key, wait until someone comes to scream at you and keep singing until they pay you to shut up. Not only do you have fun, you make some extra money that way. So this story is about Hansika Motwani. Though if it was up to her mother, it would be a story about Hansika's mum. Well, it kinda is. Before I completely lose you, a close family source has come out with the information that the teenage Hansika does not give her own telephone interviews, it's actually her mother that answers questions from the press. The source continues,

"Her mom also wanted to become an actress in her young days, but failed and now she enjoys giving interviews which she always wanted to, and she always make sure to boost her name behind the success of the actress. But Hansika isn't happy with it, but feels helpless in front of her mom".

Aren't parents just the pits sometimes? They ruin your fun, they have irrational rules and they try and steal your publicity.

Should Pakistani's rejoice or be sad that their Rawalpindi Express's next stop is Bollywood? Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is going to be taking a break from cricket and/or retiring in style. Instead of just marrying someone somewhat famous as other cricketers are wont to do, he decides that his next claim for stardom will be on the other side of the border in Bollywood. After Pakistan lost both the ODI and Test series in India recently, Shoaib is posed and in place to start his career in Bollywood. While I think he looks sleazy as hell, most girls tend to go gaga over him so I'm sure that will help in the publicity of his new movie. The cricketer come actor was previously rumoured to be in talks about doing a movie with Deepika Padukone, but has now signed on to do a movie with Hansika Motwani. I have to question the sanity behind this 'jodhi' however, since he's 35 and she's 16. Either she has to play his daughter or this movie is going to be a pedophiles dream. His new movie is titled Main Aur Meri Himmat (Me and my Perseverance) and will be a romantic comedy. Producer Nissha S Katyayann says,

"After making albums and music videos we decided to venture into film production. Our first film will be the Shoaib and Hansikaa starrer Main Aur Meri Himmat that will commence in January. It will be directed by debutant director Sangamitra Chaudhary." "The script demanded his presence. He will be seen in a very interesting role that will be completely different from his cricketer's image. We wanted a bubbly, young actress and Hansikaa fitted the bill."

So he won't be playing the awara, idiot, irresponsible playboy? I can live with that. After seeing the state of the Pakistan team and since he's missed out on signing for the ICL, maybe this is the best way to pay for his eventual fines?

And why should anyone be surprised at that news? Himesh Reshammiya is kinda gross, seriously. I doubt Mallika Sherawat has become prudish though, but she did put a no-kissing clause in her contract. Though I think thats because of Himesh. I'd want to have the law on my side to if I was expected to kiss Himesh. This will be Himesh's debut film, and its a passionate (read: whory) love story between Himesh and co-star Hansika Motwani. Mallika had the no-kissing clause written into the contract allegedly because she felt that her character didn't need to kiss Himesh's and so it shouldn't be expected. I still maintain that Himesh is gross and Mallika did it so she wouldn't have to go near his hairy ass.
