Salman and SRK

Finally, pics are back up. That doesn't mean I'm a wordpress genius, just means I got lazy of trying and used another source for the photos. If the pics are a bit blurry or something...I don't know why! But at least they're back up!

So happy Monday all, I hope you had a brilliant weekend. Mine was extremely relaxing, except now I have to catch up on all the work I didn't do over the weekend. Maybe it's just me, but campus got a lot harder this semester!

So the latest story today, and to add another twist to the Katrina Kaif birthday fiasco, is that boyfriend Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan started bickering during the party. When will these guys ever grow up?

Even though the fight sounded very petty, it seems that Bollywood is breaking apart down the middle, with Shah Rukh supporters and Sallu supporters. It seems that Salman first took aim at Shah Rukh with a bottle of champagne and Shah Rukh retaliated with an evian water and even Aamir Khan got involved with a bottle of oil, so he could pour oil on troubled waters...get it? Heehee...Ok, I'm sugar high. Bad joke.

Salman did start the fight though, by comparing the ratings of 'Dus Ka Dum' and "Paanchvi Pass' and laughed at King Khan for not even pulling decent ratings. SRK was supposedly silent for most of the attack, until he retorted by saying something about Ash, which set Salman off again. And Aamir did try to intervene, to no avail. Unfortunately, there weren't any eyewitnesses, so no one can tell me if they had a food fight or not.

So now Salman's and Shah Rukh's supporters are coming up from the woodwork, with actors such as Fardeen and Zayed Khan, Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor all throwing in their lot with him and directors like Sajid Khan, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Yash Chopra supposedly siding with Shah Rukh.

Honestly, I don't care who wins, as long as there's a Bollywood-wide food-fight!

Vidya is slim…before she was fat

Heyy babyy Ummm, how much slimmer did she want to be? Wow, Bollywood actresses are just insane. Anyways, the actress is playing a new kind of role in her new movie Heyy Babyy (by the way, which dyslexic freak wrote that?). While she usually plays good-girl roles, but this time she's going to be an unwed mother, who's child has three possible fathers (played by Ritiesh Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan). Vidya's quite excited by her new western look and totally expected to look great in the movie after watching the shoot of the theme song, which included 15 actresses ranging from B to E list (E-list are the one's I haven't even heard about). Vidya also reveals her old self (why are celebrities always nerdy/unpopular/fat/etc before they became famous?) and reveals that she used to be overweight but the dream of being an actress kept her going:
"I used to be 20 kgs overweight. But I wanted to get into acting. That's when my confidence in doing what I believe in, helped me achieve what I wanted to. It was a terrific feeling." "It discouraged me to the extent that I started thinking of myself as ugly."
Don't worry Vidz, we all feel like that sometimes.

Brian Lara and Shah Rukh Khan act

Brian Lara Both very surprising, since neither are actors (hehe, did you get my SRK diss? I acted like he wasn't an actor, slice!). The former West Indian captain apparently has too much free time on his hands after retiring and so he's acting with Shah Rukh in his new film Dulha Mil Gaya (The Groom has been Found). So what, is this the other side of Runaway Bride? Wait, wait, I have to read the whole article before writing. The film has Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan as the leads, with Shah Rukh and Brian making special appearances. Yeah, that's the story, exciting hey?

No Khans at Ash-Abhi Wedding

Ashy Ok, so my last reports were wrong (damn that monkey in the alley, he lied to me!) and Salman Khan was not invited to the wedding of the year...um, month...um, week. Yeah, that's it, it's the most important wedding happening that week. SantaBanta reports that none of the Khans have been invited to the big day, including all the Big Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir) and the Little ones (Saif Ali Khan, Zayed and Fardeen) and the behind the scene Khans (Farah and Sajid Khan, Feroz Khan). Is it just me, or does Bollywood have ALOT of Khans? Oh well, it's supposed to be a private affair, so there isn't really a point to inviting them. I mean, Shah Rukh will probably get drunk and go around promoting whisky, Salman will bring Katrina and show her off while making innuendo about his relationship with Ash and Aamir will sit there, glaring at everyone because he hadn't had a hit movie since Fanaa. And then there'll be a huge food fight, well, because that's the best way to end a wedding.
