Vidya Balan is stupid

Author: tigger  //  Category: Esha Deol, Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan
Speaking of actresses that want to change their image, it seems like Vidya Balan is now also one of them.

While other actresses or actors change their image by dressing differently, shaping up (or down), Vidya seems to think the best way to show the world she's changed is by...scrawling on herself? The Kismat Konnection actress has already booked an appointment with a tattoo artist in Mumbai and is set to follow fellow actors like Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Esha Deol (As far as I know, Shah Rukh's is just temporary, since it's a big freaky green 'Mike Tyson'-like tattoo).

Vidya is supposedly getting the tattoo just above her heart but hasn't said if it will be a design, words or the special someone's name...

Hmm, is Vidya my new target for uninterrupted ridicule and humiliation? Looks like she's going to be!

Jannat creates another starlet

Author: tigger  //  Category: Emraan Hashmi, Esha Deol, Sonal Chauhan
Do you know if you spin around enough on your computer chair, you eventually throw up? Yes, people, it's that time of the year again...exams! Which means that SoggyCornflakes will be up and running every day of the week, except weekends. Obviously, when I'm supposed to be studying, I would rather update the blog. I wonder if Esha Deol is kicking herself yet. Esha was apparently offered the role of Zoya in Jannat (Heaven) but turned it down. Now Jannat is doing great, Sonal Chauhan is kind of a star and Emraan Hashmi...well, he got back his reputation as the serial kisser. So all is right in the Bhatt camp. Esha might be a bit sad though, but no one cares about that. Sonal recently celebrated her birthday and is so happy with her new film,
"Jannat has opened to 100 percent," "It is the best birthday gift I have ever received. Jannat has released on my birthday and I've been told that it’s doing really well. Apparently, Jannat has fetched the biggest start after Raaz, for the Bhatts."
And obviously, the film and commercial offers are coming in. This is only helped by director Kunal Deshmukh's gushing praise of the actress,
"Clichéd as it may sound but the fact remains that she has put in a lot for her role in the film" "In spite of the fact that she had to work for 15-16 hours a day, she didn't complain. We pushed her and she came up trumps every time."
Come one, come all, see the amazing spectacle of a hard-working spectacle.

‘One Two Three’ Ready? Catfight!

Author: tigger  //  Category: Esha Deol, Sameera Reddy, Tanissha Mukherjee, Tusshar Kapoor
Tusshar Kapoor As One Two Three hits the theatres, not only is it in direct competition with Race, a few stories are emerging about the female stars in the movie. The stars, Tanissha Mukherjee, Esha Deol, Neetu Chandra and Sameera Reddy apparently had their claws drawn throughout shooting. This animosity has continued to the premiere where the girls continued to ignore each other and vie for attention from the camera's. Male co-star Tusshar Kapoor speaks of the rivalry,
"There was a cold war on. But no crying buckets, stamping of feet or fisticuffs as reported. The girls spoke to one another, but there were issues even if they weren't apparent. I guess, it's the intense competition."
Huh, that's weird, because this movie is the who's who of untalented skanks in Bollywood. Cool, it's true then, all girls have claws, even the ones who don't use them. -Halo pops over Tigger's head-

Bollywood celebrates Valentine’s

Author: tigger  //  Category: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Amrita Arora, Amrita Rao, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitley, Dino Morea, Divya Dutta, Esha Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Imtiaz Ali, Koena Mitra, Malaika Arora-Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Riya Sen, Tanushree Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Zayed Khan
Bollywood Valentine’s A nice easy post this one is...Happy Valentine's Day everyone...since I don't believe in the commercial holiday, which is nothing more than an excuse to make guy's feel guilty, girls feel stupid and everyone wastes money on tacky teddy bears and plastic roses. Love is not this but let's see how Bollywood will be spending it's day...
Aishwarya Rai: "I'll be attending the premiere of Jodha-Akbar in Delhi on Valentine's Day. But Abhishek will be with me. So no complaints. Every day is a simple day and every day is a celebration. What you make of every moment is what it’s all about. Bipasha Basu: Doing: "We're going for a short trip to Cape Town. For the last three years on Valentine's Day John and I have been in in different countries. Looking forward to this flash holiday. Desire: "None. I'm happy and contented." Zayed Khan: Doing: "See, it was Valentine's Day five years ago that I proposed to Malaika. So it's a doubly special day for me. I think I'm going to try my hand at being chef, and have a go at some fine wine that I've been saving up for us for a special day. We'll be at home since we don't want to leave our son Zidaan alone. Desire: "For many more such Valentine's Days" Pooja Bedi: Doing: "I've absolutely no plans. It's a day for LOVERS,not about being with loved ones, friends and relative. Unless you want to comfort yourself about the absence of that someone special in your life. Desire: Waiting for my Prince Charming to come. Priyanka Chopra: "I don't believe you need a reason or a particular day to say you love someone. When you're in love every day is special." Koena Mitra: Doing: "Since I don't have anyone special in my life I'd do the usual things, like watching a movie with my girlfriends, shopping till I drop and some harmless male-bashing with my girlie pals. And hmmmm, I may do some serious flirting. Is that allowed? Desire: "My Valentine desire would be to finally meet Mr Right. But if that's not possible this Valentine then fine. Just get me a man who's hot-looking and a great conversationalist. Then even a Mr Wrong will do. Celina Jaitley: Desire: My Valentine wish is to find true love. Doing: "Though I'm working on Valentine's Day I have a special show for the day on MTV for the single. I'll watch it and have a good laugh Imtiaz Ali: Doing: "There's a special screening of my Jab We Met for young Delhi romantics. So it's a day of good business for me. And this is as romantic as I can get. Desire: "I want to keep making films that girls will adore on Valentine's Day. Aryan Vaid: "My Valentine's Day plans are open. I'm single so nothing happening. I want to celebrate love. It's such an amazing time and with the Mumbai weather being so romantic, this Valentine's Day will be special even without a play- mate. Desire: Hopefully next year I'll have someone special to celebrate it with. Farhan Akhtar: Doing: "Since I'm shooting for Rock On it'll be a very routine Valetine's Day for me. But the night gets exciting when I get to see an intensely romantic film Jodha-Akbar. Desire: "Want to see Mumbayites back to the spirit of the city.. Esha Deol: Doing: "It's an unromantic Valentine for me. I'm shooting an ad with my mum and sis. Desire: "I want to give lots of love to all those who've given me love. Lots of love to all my ex-es too! Ha ha. May God keep me single for as long as possible because I love my freedom. Muzamil Ebrahim: Doing: "It's my mother's birthday on Valentine's Day so there'll definitely be lots of celebration. Desire: "Want good health and happiness for all those who love me.And I want to get together with the one I want to be with. Dino Morea: Doing: "Since I've no love life I'll be doing some good for society. Will be meeting cancer patients who are couples and helping one another through life. Then I'm off to Delhi for an event. Sammir Dattani: Doing : "Shooting a very romantic song in Bangalore with my co–star Jennifer Kotwal but thinking of someone very special in Mumbai. Desire: Wish I was back on Mumbai to be with that someone very special. Riya Sen: "Nothing exciting. I'll be working. I'm in Delhi on the 14th for an appearance. Amrita Arora: Doing: "Will be shooting on Valentine's Desire: "Wish to have my loved one with me forever Divya Dutta: "I'm celebrating Valentine's Day with my favourite people on the sets of Dilli 6 in Jaipur.. and that includes my childhood crush Rishi Kapoor. Kushal Punjabi: Doing: "Besides shooting I'll be doing what all other lovers do on Valentine's Day. Exchanging cards and listening to romantic songs. What did you think? Desire: "From all the girls in my life that one special person will emerge on this day. I promise I'll give up doing naughty like exchanging cards things after that. Neil Mathur: Doing: "Will be going out with a secret Valentine to a secret place." Desire: "One wish would be that I get the power to give back love to all those who love me." Tusshar Kapoor: Doing: "Nothing special. Just meeting up with friends after shooting" Desire: "If I had my way I'd make every day Valentine's Day." Amrita Rao: Doing: "I'm shooting all day and and attending a birthday party in the evening." Ritesh is proud of ‘Cash’

Author: tigger  //  Category: Ajay Devgan, Diya Mirza, Esha Deol, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shamita Shetty, Sunil Shetty, Zayed Khan
Cash Even though I've changed the title song to 'Crap to the left of me, crap to the right of me...' and you get the idea. I'm glad he's proud of himself because that movie is somewhere down there on the unrealistic-and-disjointed-rubbish movie meter. Ritesh Deshmukh loves Cash, even though it didn't do much for his career, but he feels that he's proved that he can do other roles besides comedy. He enjoyed shooting for the film so much that he lost track of how fast shooting went...and yet he never questioned where a F1 car appeared from.
"The kind of action that we got to see in 'Cash' was never seen before. Me, Ajay Devgan, Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Diya Mirza and Esha Deol had a whale of time. We didn't even realize when the shooting got over,"
Did you know Ritesh was an architect? He even has a company...good back-up plan in case the acting career flops. He's not really concentrating on that job just yet though, saying,
"I leave my architecture company's running in the hands of a very efficient team while I focus on my acting,"
Yes, and I leave my unwritten novel in my head while I concentrate on blogging...

Esha thinks revealing is glamourous

Author: tigger  //  Category: Esha Deol, Ram Gopal Varma
esha.jpg Esha Deol isn't having a great time in Bollywood. With her last two movies flopping, she's hoping for the best with Darling, her latest movie with Ram Gopal Verma. Esha also sharpens her nails before digging into director Anubhav Sinha, who she blames for Cash being a flop.
"There were some scenes that I could not even understand. The story is about a diamond, and yet, you don't know who gets it in the end. Directors should know what shape the movie would take. So, one cannot put the responsibility on actors when they ruin the project."
Nice way to absolve yourself of any blame girl. Let's see how long that excuse works before they discover that you really are just a bad actress. A bad actress who'll dress a bit revealingly and try to find an excuse for it.
"It's my duty to portray the character properly. If such is the demand of the character, I have no objection to wearing glamorous dresses. My character in "Dhoom" is one such example."
Sorry that it doesn't all work out for you Esha. Just because you wear a mini isn't gonna make every movie of yours a success. Though she has signed on for alot of projects, so maybe she can come through without too much humiliation or bad reviews.

Esha Deol is fair…

Author: The other guy  //  Category: Esha Deol, Isha Koppikar, Kareena Kapoor
Esha Deol is following in the footsteps of Kareena Kapoor, Simone Singh and Isha Koppikar, after being named the new face of Garnier fairness cream. A Garnier representative said,
“The Garnier philosophy has always been bringing in new, different and better products, thus taking care of yourself, of those around you and it all begins with bringing in superior products for the consumer. Esha is a perfect fit for the brand because the brand is aimed at the youth and Esha Deol is an apt match for the same,”
I don't get it. Esha Deol is fair... just not fairness cream fair. Still though, I'm not one of those people that define how good looking a person is on the basis of their complexion... I'm one of the people that base a persons career trend, habits, conduct, happiness and if course good looks on the basis of their complexion.* *It's a joke people. But seriously... What's up with the Indo-Pak affection for fair skin?

Esha has no friends

Author: tigger  //  Category: Esha Deol
Well, that's my response to her being so totally in love with her dog, that she carries it around, plays with it on set and will even try to scam him into her hotel room. Unfornately for Esha Deol, her canine companion wasn't allowed in and...well, I'm not sure what she did with him. Left him in the street, probably. Nah, I'm joking. Esha's dog is very adorable and at least it's not one of those yippy, hairless things. If she dresses it up, then...I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill her.

Shockwaves ripple through Bollywood…

As ANOTHER no-talent kid gets launched by daddy (or mummy). Ravi Chopra's sons, Abhay and Kapil, are the set to be the new additions to the (in)famous train of youngsters entering Bollywood mainstream. Ravi Chopra says,
"My younger son Abhay is planning to direct a film titled Mitthi and will launch it by January. My elder son Kapil is going to make his debut as an actor. I am planning to launch him in my next film titled Kohinoor."
I despise all these "filmi kids", as far as I'm concerned, over the last 10 years only three of these kids have earnt the right to call themselves actors (Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan), the rest keep producing the same drivel. I'm looking at you Bobby Deol... and you Sunny Deol... and you Esha Deol... and you Abhay Deol... and you Kareena Kapoor... and you Zayed Khan... and you Fardeen Khan... and... and... I'm bored. So, to sum up. Filmi kids suck.

Esha likes pain…oooh, kinky

Author: tigger  //  Category: Esha Deol
Esha Tattoo Tattoos hasn't really reached Bollywood actors yet, but a few prefer the body art and the unique impressions they can make with it. One such actress is Esha Deol, who has Om and the Gayatri Mantra on her back (pictured above).
“I love doing tattoos and don’t find them painful. Om and Gayatri Mantra are words I learnt as a child,”
And apparently she never got over painting herself when she was a kid and decided to go the whole hog and get stuff tattooed on her. I just wanna point out that childhood memories aren't really the best reason to get a tattoo...I liked Gummi Bears when I was a kid, but you won't find Grumpi bear on my back. And maybe Esha forgot those things are permanent? A bath ain't gonna wash this off.
