As sad as I am having to admit it, Ayesha Takia isn’t having the greatest of fun in Bollywood and know one knows why!

The actress walked out of a production with Aamir Khan (a stupid movie in the industry, since Aamir’s movies always tend to be hits) and now has also refused the role of Jasmine in a Bollywood production of Aladdin. She hasn’t given any reasons…the film stars Retiesh as Aladdin, and Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt also have roles. So something must have gone really wrong for Ayesha to say no to the film.

Things sure ain’t looking good for Ayesha.

Oh, and just to let you know. SoggyCornflakes Celebrities and Bollywood will be out of commission during the weekends, due to the fact that I’m on holiday and I may have something that closely resembles a life…I’m not sure, but I think it’s a life.

Ayesha Takia, the star of Oscar-quality fare like Dil Maange More and Shaadi se Pehle refuses to pucker up onscreen. She recently refused a part in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Ashaayen, due to a kissing scene, which led to questions about whether she did so because of her boyfriend, Farhan Azmi.

She says,

“First of all, I never said no to the film. I said no to the scene. I can’t say no to Nagesh. After Dor he’s a friend and a director I respect immensely. I still think we can work our way around the scene. But Nagesh is adamant. So I guess…You know Anurag Kashyap’s No Smoking had a kissing and love-making scene. Anurag altered the script for my sake. But Farhan or no member of my family has anything to do with my decision. My values make me uncomfortable with such a scene. If I go to a premiere with my family, and that includes Farhan, and see myself kissing on screen I’d be very uncomfortable.”

That would make me uncomfortable too! I can just imagine walking into a cinema with my parents and there on the big screen is me kissing some random guy… My parents would never forgive me!

Especially after the neighbours start writing “Die homo!” on our walls.

Fight! Fight! Fight! And I’m sure Ayesha Takia will win, because good always wins over the evil that is Kareena Kapoor. Yesterday’s blog was bout Kareena not having a job, but she’s making a reputation for herself as the “Item Girl” and her latest number in Kya Love Story Hai has had the star of the movie Ayesha Takia a bit miffed, since a lot of attention has been given to Kareena’s song.

Ayesha’s been pretty calm about the whole thing, but had a little sting in her last interview. When asked if she would make sensational appearances like Kareena does, she quickly retorted that she didn’t do item tracks. Now will Kareena make another enemy in the industry? Stay tuned.
