Then don't bother watching all the crap with cute animals on YouTube, De Taali released recently and according to Ritesh Deshmukh, it's a clean, feel good film. It also stars Ayesha Takia and some other actors.

We reported quite a while back that Ayesha Takia had supposedly gone overseas for a little nip, tuck and suck. Now she has returned, looking... well, a bit thinner than she did before. Unfortunately, couldn't find any new pictures of her at the moment so put in an old one with an even older joke. Ayesha denies the surgery rumours and insists that she worked hard, with the help of her fitness trainer and her mum and managed to work off her curves. Obviously doubters have said that it was the result of surgery. Honestly, who cares? I don't, because it's a Friday...whoohoo!

It's Friday again (the week goes by so fast!) and it's freezing here. Anyways, a story to warm you girls up...about Shahid! Yay! Ok, so I'm having a hard time finding a Shahid Kapoor story for this week, so let's talk about his new movie. There's Shahid up there, on the sets of Paathshala...I have no idea what it means. The movie is set in a school campus setting (I love those movies, dunno why) and stars Shahid and Ayesha Takia. The producer of the film is Ahmed Khan, who says,

"Paathshala revolves around kids and is set in the school campus. It has actors like Shahid Kapur, Nana Patekar, Ayesha Takia in essential characters. The film has child artists like Swini Khare (Cheeni Kum), Ali Haji (Partner) and Dwij Yadav (Nanhe Jaisalmer) in pivotal roles." informs Ahmed Khan. "Shahid is not doing a cameo, it is a character role. He plays a teacher who teaches English and Music. Nana Patekar is playing the role of the Principal, and Ayesha Takia is a teacher who looks into the extra curricular activities. Besides them, there is Sushant Singh and Saurabh Shukla in the film as well,"

And the movie is now in post-production stages, and I guess we'll be seeing a few promos soon, if they aren't already out. Ok, I couldn't find any on YouTube, but when they do come out, I'll get back to you guys. Happy Friday!

I'm pretty sure I have loads of posts that say people are getting married and so far, not one of them have come true. Maybe it's a gift I have, if I say people are getting married, then they never will. Mwuhahaha! (That was evil laughter by the way) Imagine what I could do with this power! So the next doomed couple is Ayesha Takia and longtime boyfriend Farhan Azmi. A source reports,

“Ayesha will soon tie the knot with Farhan and both of them are busy with their wedding preparations. The wedding will take place in the next couple of months and although they have finalised everything, they have not disclosed it to their close friends.”

Yeah, that makes sense. You're totally prepared for the wedding but you haven't finalised the guest list. What if your friends have other commitments that day? What if there's a really good match on TV? Ayesha is supposed to be getting obsessed with the preparations so much so that she's turning down movie roles so she can find the most perfect centerpieces for the reception. Well, the point is, she's obsessed.

After Sherlyn Chopra makes an absolute fool of herself by getting a bum-enlargement, it looks like some other actresses are into surgical manipulation as well. Ayesha Takia has reached some messed up epiphany that she's too fat and has apparently flown off to the States to do something about it. No, she's not getting tips on anorexia from Lindsay Lohan, she's decided that liposuction is the way to go, since she's too lazy/depressed to attempt weight loss again. Maybe someone should tell her about Sherlyn's botched bum-job. There's nothing like a pretty picture to scare a girl off. And seriously, someone should also tell Ayesha that she's not fat. She's normal.

Like seriously, this isn't a joke. Ayesha Takia really is an alien...or at least, she will be when she acts in her new movie. Hah! Gotcha! I know you believed me...I just know you did? You didn't? Aw man, I gotta work on my lying some more. Milap Zaveri is making a film called Jaane Kahaan Se Aiyee Hai (Goodness knows where she came from) where Ayesha Takia will be playing a girl from Venus who comes to Earth to kill and incubate our bodies for nutrition. Wait, that's some other story. She's coming to find love. How incredibly original.

"I wanted to make a love story but with a different subject. There will be a lot of humour and emotions that the young generation will be able to relate to." Ayesha will be sporting a a futuristic look for the film. “She will definitely have a futuristic and funky look. Coming from Venus, she has special powers and we intend to add some special effects as well,”

Ayesha's leading man will be Ritesh Deshmukh and yeah, wait until May for it to come out. Bet it's crap though.

I like Ayesha Takia, she's like one of those sweet girls that you probably won't ever be mean to but I really do wish she'd shut up. I'm sure anyone who follows Bollywood news by now knows that she won't kiss on screen...but why does she keep telling us? What is she trying to prove? Yes, we get it, you're portraying the good girl image...now if she could just work on her acting skills.

"There're things that I wouldn't do, like kiss and wear certain kinds of clothes. And yes that does put me at a disadvantage. But I'm very happy with the work that I'm getting. After Dor I'm being taken seriously as an actress. "

While actresses who'll be uninhibited for a role in Bollywood are a dime-a-dozen, it's nice to see someone who'll take a stand. But she should take her stand only once, or twice at most. Everyone knows Ayesha won't kiss, all her co-stars must be bitterly disappointed, and her parents must be so proud and blah, blah, blah.

Isn't that a usual case in the industry, when an actor or actress in a smaller role gets pushed forward in the promotions, just to generate some viewers? It's a sad situation however and kinda proved, since all I heard about Goal was Bipasha Basu and John Abraham team up again. I didn't even know that Ayesha Takia was in the movie, never mind that she was the leading lady. But whatever, she hasn't said much about her exclusion, and neither has John, though he does says Ayesha is a rocking co-star:

"I think she has done an absolutely wonderful and fabulous job. If 'Dor' gave her one award, I think this should nominate her for the other."

Ok, maybe he doesn't say that exactly, but I guess he says she's a good actress? Whatever. I'm cold. Have a good weekend everyone.

And it isn't Kareena Kapoor. Phew, if I had to see another movie with them, I'd have to kill myself...or kill Kareena. I think the latter, it's less messy and all I need is a stake. Apparently, that's the only way to kill people like her. Anyways, Shahid Kapoor is set to have a new co-star, usually being restricted with his choices (it's usually Kareena or Amrita Rao, though he had a decent chemistry with Ayesha Takia). Now he can act with Salman's paramour, Katrina Kaif. Director Raj Kumar Santoshi says:

"I haven't done a simple love story before. Most of my films have been very intense and searching. I just wanted to see what it felt like to direct a boy-meets-girl story. Now that my Ajay Devgan-Vidya Balan starrer Halla Bol is ready." Shahid is an actor Raj wanted to work with for a while. He earlier planned to bring Shahid and his father Pankaj Kapoor together in a comedy. But has now decided to go ahead with the love story instead. "He's got what it takes. And I know Shahid is capable of great intensity in a romance."

While Kat does have the innocent and cute look down, I still think she might look a bit old for our boy-wonder. Shahid can't help it if he looks like a 15 year old. Hey, if I have a crush on him, does that make me a pedophile?

As sad as I am having to admit it, Ayesha Takia isn't having the greatest of fun in Bollywood and know one knows why! The actress walked out of a production with Aamir Khan (a stupid movie in the industry, since Aamir's movies always tend to be hits) and now has also refused the role of Jasmine in a Bollywood production of Aladdin. She hasn't given any reasons...the film stars Retiesh as Aladdin, and Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt also have roles. So something must have gone really wrong for Ayesha to say no to the film. Things sure ain't looking good for Ayesha. Oh, and just to let you know. SoggyCornflakes Celebrities and Bollywood will be out of commission during the weekends, due to the fact that I'm on holiday and I may have something that closely resembles a life...I'm not sure, but I think it's a life.
