Yash Raj must be pleased

Shah Rukh Khan Rab ne bana di jodi

Yash Raj has become very wary of late. Their movies aren’t guaranteed to be a hit anymore and that’s why Aditya Chopra, known for keeping mum until a movies release, staged a special screening of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi for Yash Chopra, Karan Johar and the stars of the movie.

According to sources, everyone present was seriously impressed at the movie and Yash Chopra can breathe freely because he feels that this will bring Yash Raj back to the top again. A source reports,

“Well Adi was a relieved man once the show was over as RNBDJ has SUPERHIT written all over.

It is definately going to YRF’s savior just like last year’s SRK starrer Chak De India was! The movie is a complete family entertainerquite funny and has some really spectacular dance sequences.

The highlight number being the one where the King Khan is shown imitating old actors like Rajesh Khanna and Shammi Kapoor, etc. The film is a simple sweet love story shot mainly in India. Anushka has made a good debut and she is a good dancer.”

And for those of you who want to know what the storyline is, Shah Rukh Khan’s and Anuksha Sharma’s characters are already married, although the marriage doesn’t really have much romance in it. Shah Rukh’s character really does love his wife though and when his wife wants to enter a dance competition (I’m assuming it’s a couples thing), he gets a makeover so he can be the guy of her dreams.

Sounds interesting…and different, Bollywood doesn’t really concentrate much on married couples, just on getting the two together.

Shah Rukh in ‘Rab ne Bana Di Jodi’

Posted by tigger in Anuksha Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan

I’m feeling lazy, so here’s a video for you guys, if you’ve missed the promos of Shah Rukh Khan’s new movie, Rab ne Bana Di Jodi with Anuksha Sharma. I really liked the song once I listened to it a few times…hey, maybe we’ll see a comeback of the old sweet SRK.

Shah Rukh has a mustache, again

Posted by tigger in Aditya Chopra, Anuksha Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan

Anushka and Shah Ruh

Happy Friday SoggyChums and since I’ve been absent for most of the week, I hope you all had an awesome week, with minimal work to do.

Today’s first story is about Shah Rukh Khan and his new look for film Rab ne Bana Di Jodi (God made this relationship). Shah Rukh is known for having the mostly clean-shaven and clean cut look, and I never liked his mustache particularly when he sported it for Paheli.

Unfortunately, the hairy thing is back as shown by recent stills from RNBDJ with newcomer Anuksha Sharma. Also, he’s wearing glasses. Like, big, thick-rimmed glasses, like old people wear. Why Shah Rukh, why? I know he can’t play a lover-man forever, but making him look so old?

I have a new theory. Aditya Chopra now hates Yash Raj so much that he will ugly-fy everyone’s favourite hero just to make the movie flop…what you think?
