There's reports that Govinda has started becoming a diva again, arriving late on sets and whatnot, but the big story is that he's fallen out with Money Hain To Honey Hain director Ganesh Acharya. The choreographer-turned-director has helped Govinda with dance moves many times before but when it came to directing, Govinda wasn't really in the listening mood.

Apparently they disagreed during the shooting of the movie, on issues such as the length of the movie and the kinds of songs but the final straw was the supposed betrayal when Govinda was promised that Akshay Kumar would be doing an item number for the film, but...

"Ganesh Acharya had promised me that Akshay Kumar would be making a guest appearance for one of the songs Mash–a- Allah.. The next thing I know Ganesh was dancing on screen himself in that song.

Yeh ek bhanyankar surprise hua.It was something beyond my imagination to see Ganesh in Akshay's place. …There was a vast difference between what Ganesh had said and what he finally delivered."

Well, Ganesh used to be a choreographer...and who better to do the dance than the one that plans it out?

Akshay Kumar, after having a string of consecutive hits, was none too pleased when Tashan failed him. Is he back on the market with Singh is Kinng? Also, why do his movies have such bad spelling? Heyy Babyy, for example.

While Singh is Kinng is shaping up to be the hit of the year, some people will not be going to watch the movie.

Some of the Sikh population in India is not impressed at the portrayal of Sikhs in the film and have been protesting the release of the movie outside theaters. Producer Vipul Shah talks about the protesters,

"These are people who don't respect the opinion the highest authorities of their community who've said there's nothing objectionable in Singh Is Kinng. All the important and powerful bodies of the Sikh community cleared the film. What were these boys on Friday protesting about?

They said they hadn't even seen the film. They just said it was an insult to Sikhism. But in what way?"

But he did understand that some people might not like the fact that Akshay's beard is so short.

So Sikh readers of SoggyCornflakes, I have a questions for you guys...actually, a few questions. Now I don't know much about the religion, but is it like compulsory to wear the turban and grow the beard? If someone doesn't grow one, are they not considered a real Sikh? And if you've seen Singh is Kinng, did you find anything offensive in it?

Akshay Kumar is very happy, waiting for the release of Singh is Kinng, so maybe he's feeling a bit confident. At the moment, he's one of the most successful actors in Bollywood, along with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

It seems when a movie is about to be released, everyone starts caring what actor's opinions are. When asked who he thought the real King was, Akki replied,

"Bachchan has been in the film industry over over 35 years and he is the real king. There are many who are around for 15-20 years and like to call themselves king. There is only one king and he is Amitabh Bachchan. I am merely acting in a film called Singh is Kinng,"

And Akki is really inviting controversy here since it doesn't take a genius to work out who's the 15-20 year old veteran who's NOT king. Wait...who's he talking about...?

Hiya all. What can I say whenever I avoid a day or two if updating? My workload has increased unbelievably this semester, I don't always have time to update anymore. Even today, I'm only uploading a few stories. And yes, I'm waffling to make this story look longer than it actually is.

Right now, I'm listening to the Bachna Ae Haseeno songs, which kinda suck...except maybe 'Jogi Mahi'. Anyways, today's story is about Katrina Kaif and how she prefers to remain quiet, even though Singh is Kingg is due to be released soon.

Well, her tongue is selectively busy. She's more than willing to discuss Akshay Kumar and their new movie, but she won't talk about the events of her birthday, whether Salman threw her the part, and especially, whether Salman and Shah Rukh fought.

"I'm a professional and have a big film to talk about. Of course I will. In fact I have a media interaction lined up in a few days for the promotion of Singh Is Kinng".

"But if any journalist wants to ask me about that fight on my birthday party, please don't bother."

Awww, don't be like that Kat! We wanna know what happened!

Aw man, the part I miss most about not being able to put pics up? No Shahid Kapoor Friday picture. Now my week doesn't feel complete without the final pic. Oh well, here's one of the songs from Kismat Konnection to start off the weekend. It's not one of my favs but I know lots of you actually do like it.

So, Kismat Konnection opened at theatres today and while the reviews coming in are mixed, it has had a good opening. Not surprising with all the love-struck Shahid fans out there. Not including me of course...I'm gonna have to wait a few days before the movie comes out here...sob, boohoo! From what I've read, seen and heard, Vidya Balan is under attack for her dress sense again...maybe that's why she's going for a new designer.

Other Shahid news include the story that even though he and Kareena Kapoor don't speak much anymore, they are still on speaking terms. One story reports that Kareena even came to the special screening of Kismat Konnection at Yash Raj studios by herself...was it to wish her old flame good luck or to secretly check out and hope that his first post-Jab We Met film would also be a flop?

I think it might be the latter since another story has come in that Kareena has convinced Imtiaz Ali not to sign Shahid for his next movie and team up Bebo with Akshay Kumar instead. Sour grapes? Totally.

Well, the Unforgettable Tour is almost ready to kick off and finally, we're 100% sure who's going to be in the show. Unfortunately, all of them have really bad lines!

Blue is supposed to be an action film but I think they might be overdoing the action when Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt were involved in an underwater stunt that almost went so wrong.

The story here is that Akki and Sanju were sitting with cameraman Peter Zuccarni to shoot a scene where a submarine or ship or something had to be blasted. According to the report, the three were underwater but because of the intensity of the blast...something bad should have happened?

I hate these vague news stories that don't give all the details but anyways, it was Peter who saved Akshay's and Sanjay's ass. For guys that are supposed to be action heroes, they're kinda wussy.

Ok, these stats are not perfect, I did almost no research on it but you can see the huge discrepancies with what Shah Rukh and Akki have achieved and what Ranbir Kapoor thinks he'll achieve.

A source reports,

"When TIPS approached Ranbir for Rajkumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, opposite Katrina Kaif, he demanded a staggering Rs.7 crore plus a share in the profit of the film,"

"It surely is the highest paycheck ever demanded by a newcomer in Bollywood. TIPS gave in to this demand and also got an oral agreement with him for 2 more films!"

Stupid filmi kids, now I hope Bachna Ae Haseeno is a flop...yup, I'm bitter like that.

Except he's not getting his own show, a la Akki, King Khan and Sallu.

And it's not a new gig for him. Arshad Warsi has been offered 5 crores to host the second season of Big Boss, which is a big increase from the 75 lakhs he was paid for the first season.

Arshad is keeping quiet about the whole deal however and says,

"There are talks happening. But it is too soon to divulge anything. Nothing much has been confirmed about the final deal yet,"

So while Sony waits for Arshad to make up his mind, they're trying to find the perfect contestants to come up on the show. The perfect contestants must obviously have zero dignity, no modesty issues and preferably fight with their housemates at any opportunity.

Obviously Sherlyn Chopra has signed on.
