Vidya and Sanjay are back

Late, late, late…even my own lateness is staring to annoy me now. Sorry for the late posts guys…I was watching Arsenal destroy Fenerbahce (whoohoo!) and I have to say that was an entertaining match. I would talk more about it, except this isn’t a football blog, so let’s get to Bollywood news.
Vidya is back to acting with older actors after making a decent jodi with Shahid Kapoor. Before she was acting with the guy that looked too young for her, now she’s acting with the guy who’s too old for her. I know Sanjay Dutt is only 100…oh wait, 49 but he really does look old and his jodi with Vidya looks quite strange at times, but I guess there’s only so many actors to go around.
Their new movie together, Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya Woh Jamiya Nahin (Translation help please!), also stars Salman Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The movie is a historical piece set during partition and even though India-Pakistan relations have improved, shooting the movie in Lahore isn’t feasible and that’s why Lahore will be reconstructed in Hyderabad. Also, the bombings there are just getting ridiculously scary.
Anyways, Vidya fans will be happy that she’s acting in another movie…though I probably won’t watch it.

they aren’t a great pair but they did grat in munna bai. i most probly won’t watch the movie because i don’t like movies like that.

hey fellow soggycornflaker whilst i love ur blog the bombings in pakitsan happen only arounf nwfp and karachi not lahore so i dnt see why they have a probs shooting there its jus indian directors are too scared to go there and also (jisne lahore dekhya nahin wo jamiy anahin mean in english ‘whoever hasnt seen lahore hasnt been born or lived yet’.

anyway, the title means “whoever hasn’t seen lahore, hasn’t started living”

Well, you’re right there, the bombings only did happen there but it doesn’t mean they haven’t taken place in Lahore. I remember earlier in the year there were bombings in Lahore, so I can’t blame them for being worried.
