Shahid’s bad luck is good luck?

Clearly someone has way too much time to think, but I’m glad because there’s at least one story to write about Shahid this week.
Shahid seems to have a strange way of bringing luck onto himself. It seems that whenever he acts in a film directed by Ken Ghosh, a little pain seems to be good for his kismat. When Shahid acted with Amrita Rao is Ishq Vishk, he hurt himself early on in the shooting and the movie became a hit. Shahid then teamed up with Ken again when he acted with Kareena Kapoor in Fida. Once again, he hurt himself during the film and even though Fida bombed, the good luck was that Shahid and Kareena started their relationship. Really? That was a good thing?
Shahid’s next movie with Ken, which may be called Star or Yahoo (man, that’s just a lawsuit waiting to happen) is already looking good. No one knows what the story line is or who his co-stars are yet but shooting has begun and Shahid has hurt himself again. Ken supposedly thinks that the movie is now going to be a hit.
I think this is the first time I’ve heard of a director who rejoices in his actor’s injuries.
Anyways, I have a terrible cold, so I’m planning to spend the weekend in bed. Stay warm and have a brilliant weekend.

Mahik, as far as I know, he hurt his neck. Even though it’s not a massive injury, it pushed Ken’s film into 2009, which sucks because we might have gotten it at the end of this year if it wasn’t for the injury. Looks like we’ll have to wait awhile for Shahid’s next…even though Paathshala is coming out in Nov, Shahid’s role is supposed to be a special appearance only. Sob, boohoo!!!

do you all know, shahid speeks in his sleep, when he was small he used to(khirkiya tor deta tha) with his cricket shots, and he was very adventures.
from the interview taken by CB during the shooting of vivah(interisting lines)-
CB: Sooraj Baratya saying anything through a film just means a whole lot of idealistic characters doing the idel thing, that is more often than not rather unbievable… or should we say too good to be true?
AMRITA:It is not the same thing. There are really good people in this world.
SHAHID:(Faking a serious look and imitating Amrita)Yes, indeed there are really ood people in this world. Right, Amrita? Amrita can only see good in this world. Seriously, nothing can be remotely close to bad, in Amrita’s perfect world! Aap bahut achche hai, aap bahut achche hai… koi gaadi thokke jaaye toh I would not be surprised if Amrita goes thanking him and saying, I know essentially you are a nice person! There is a lot of bad out there too, babe!
AMRITA:My Family!(giggles)
SHAHID:Even if i try to make things’controversial’ here, Amrita will giggle it out! Tell me Amrita what’s with you and no love life? Okay, forget that, we will get you to have arranged marriage. Just tell me what’s it that you would look for in your man?
SHAHID:Arrey! kinna accha answer de raha tha. Tok di! Isse achcha answer deke dhikao, challenge karta hu!
AMRITA:He just has to say some thing about everything, na! Shahid tell me, do you ever shut up?
SHAHID:Honestly Amrita, I even speak in my sleep!
AMRITA:What are you saying? Okey, Next question, why am i the butt of all your jokes?
SHAHID:No babes…you are not.
SHAHID:Ya, the make-up man was rather scared seeing you!
(Both break into giggles!)
SHAHID:Arrey, you don’t know Amrita she gives it right back in her own sweet way. Din’t you hear that word-premeditated! All said and alone, amrita is a wonderful person to work with; she is one really focused person. Sometimes breeming towards boredom. But one should really respect that in her, she dosen’t allow anything to come between her and her work.
AMRITA:I must say, there are actors who are spoiling other people’s concentration and you know, making funny faces right before a serious scene. But Shahid has only been supportive. I really appreciate that!
SHAHID:Bas? that was my compliment?
AMRITA:(giggles)
While Amrita’s giggles refuse to stop, Shahid leaves the building sulking!
