Shahid talks about being a kid
Posted on November 14th, 2008 by tigger under Madhuri Dixit, Shahid KapoorHappy Friday everyone. An incredibly late Shahid post this week, it’s 11:30pm here but luckily there’s some Shahid news to get you through the weekend. Firstly, I wanna tell you about the dream I had this morning that had Shahid in it. Well, it was my 22nd birthday (which is on the 30th of January, presents can be sent care of SoggyCornflakes
hint hint) and somehow I had Shahid performing at my birthday party. Now weirdly enough, there was like a 1000 girls at my party and they totally mobbed him, which was so unfair *sulk*. Eventually I did get rid of them, lol, and then I got a chance to speak to Shahid, but he wasn’t very nice to me (what a disappointment, he wasn’t nice to me in my own dream!) and then Shahid morphed into Cesc Fabregas and then the dream just got ridiculous so I’ll spare you the details.
Now on to some real news.
Shahid spoke about his childhood in a recent interview, some of which he had already said in the Sajid’s Superstars episode. Until the age of 12, Shahid was more interested in whacking cricket balls over his neighbourhood and only then did he discover girls, but just as quickly as he had his first crush, he also had his first heartbreak because the girl was 4 years older than him. The woman he still has a crush on in Madhuri Dixit (lucky her) after all these years.
He then goes on to talk about what he thought of the kid actors in Paathshala when he first got to know them,
“I bonded really well with them. They are professionals. On the first day, I thought I would teach them a thing or two. But they told me that they knew their job, so I just followed what they told me to do.”
His co-stars from the movie have nothing but praise for him either. One of his young co-stars said,
“Shahid was very sweet on the sets. He plays my music teacher in the film. The scene was that I play guitar and badly injure my thumb. Shahid rushes me to the medical room. I had a wonderful time shooting with him.”
Yeah, you can go “Awwww” now :-D.
Now it’s almost midnight…have a great weekend everyone, see you on Monday.

Lol, it was just a dream luckily.
Yeah, I know, but we all knew that Shahid liked kids already, remember that 2-year-old that he grew close to and babysat on the sets of Paathshala?
Hi Mishii, welcome to the blog, lol, what can I say, I have weird dreams. Thanks for commenting.
Lol, thanks Roxtar, but it’s not my birthday for a few more months.

Tigger, is your birthday really on 30th Jan? So’s mine!!
Hmm, we’re going ‘aawww’ all over SO after Shahid’s and the kids’ comments, you must have seen. But I’ll say one thing. The pic above is one of my favourites, and the expression in his eyes is distracting me from reading the rest of your report - even if it’s about Shahid!

Hehe, interesting coincidence, I’ll definitely remember to wish you Pomita.
Lol, I love all his pictures but I have a slight preference for ‘Jab we Met’ ones.

I really love his JWM pictures and everything about JWM, as earlier recorded.. they’re what made me fall for him! It’s just that this one (it’s from Shikhar I think?) has such an.. ardent expression in his eyes.
Sorry, getting distracted again. I’ll go back to the main page

Lol, breathe Pomita.
I was a Shahid fan way before JWM but I think you guy’s really brought out the fan-dom in me, hehe.
