Salman Khan doesn’t seem to be taking to blogging like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have. There’s a new blog opened for Salman’s new reality TV show 10 Ka Dum and it’s supposedly wriiten by Salman.

The problem is, is that the blog is boring as hell. And it doesn’t seem to be written by a sane person. True, Sallu is not always shown as the sanest of Bollywood stars but the blog is written with such arrogance that even SoggyCornflakes can’t combat it. Here’s some extracts,

We stars thrive on adulation and love of the common people and yet we get few chances of meeting them. It’s really a thrilling experience to meet common people. These are the people who elect politicians and create stars. They are also guided by their instincts. Probably this common factor, of instinct, has created tremendous emotional rapport between my fans and me.

Common people? Jeez, has this person even left feudal times? How much adulation and love will he continue receiving once fans read that they’re regarded as common people? Guided by instincts? And what are celebrities guided by? Money?

The second thing that attracted me to the format am the informality of the show — it goes to such an extent that the role of anchor and contestants are reversed at times and also interchangeable.

I hate formality and behavioral rituals. I like to be direct.

And yet it sounds like it’s written by some pompous windbag. And I’v even had spammers on the blog, encouraging people to go to the blog, Basically, 10 Ka Dum is already getting bad publicity. Feel free to read this “blog” here.
