I wonder, does India have a national football team? Even if the do, then they must suck but by the sound of things, seems like Ranbir Kapoor is the answer to their prayers. According to Sunil Shetty, Ranbir is the most brilliant footballer that he’s ever seen and he goes on in that thread for a while.

“I was so surprised! I thought Ranbir was damn a good actor. But I didn’t know the boy played soccer like a dream. He’s just so good on the field, it’s scary.”

“I was there for the charity football on Tuesday for my son’s sake though because of school he couldn’t attend.”

If his acting is anything to compare to, then Ranbir probably plays football as well as me. I’m a very good player…when I want to score, I dribble past half the team, lob the ball over the keeper and score. If they didn’t keep changing sides after half the match, I wouldn’t get confused and score own goals!

Speaking of professionals…who saw Arsenal’s match against AC Milan? I’d like to see Ranbir get into that team.
