Now Sanjay has a problem with Shahid

Firstly, where are all these stories when I’m looking for Shahid Kapoor stories on a Friday? Damn news agencies, they only release the good stories on a Monday.
Secondly, why are all the ‘boddaas’ (old guys) in Bollwyood going after Shahid? First it was Salman Khan that had a problem with Shahid and now Sanjay Dutt has also jumped on the bandwagon.
This story started several years ago (ok, like 2 years ago) when Shahid and Sanjay were working together on Vaah, Life ho Toh Aisi! and even though Sanjay was acting with Shahid in almost every scene, he didn’t appreciate the fact that Shahid mostly kept to himself between scenes and wasn’t particularly friendly towards him. SO that’s why Sanjay refused to work with Shahid in his next movie, insisting that the director could cast anyone besides Shahid.
So the role in Sanjay’s movie Kidnap eventually went to Imran Khan…which is obviously Sanjay’s loss. Sanjay is also close friends with Salman, so I guess they could bounce their I-hate-Shahid rants off each other.
A friend of Shahid’s explains the incident with Sanjay,
“Shahid is a reserved person who doesn’t take liberties with any of the senior co-stars. He has always been in awe of Sanjay Dutt and he maintained his distance out of deep respect. His deference was probably miscued by Dutt.”
I swear, these old guys in Bollywood are far too up their own butts to see anything.

Hey girls i am not very fascinated with shahid as much you do, but you can clearly observe in any stage show where shahid is dancing all the seniors put a dark face. I could see this even on Arshad Warsi face when shahid was on stage.Its obvious, Shahid do not belong to any top bollywood family. Nor his parents are superstars(Though his father is a good actor these biggies dont care). He did not even have any high profile, he called himself a middle class and it was his exclusive talent. Where as the left overs of previous super stars are still struggling to become as popular as shahid. I never find a reason why Fardheen is popular, why Reteish Deshmuk gets an award at every function, why Ranbir is so popular with one flop movie. Simple they all have backup and baggage which Shahid dont, but still he got much fan following.

Appu, agree there, I noticed all those reaction as well. I guess that’s one reason I like him more, he’s made it on his own and still does not bend down on his knees to please all and sundry.
Hopefully he will choose his films carefully and make his fan base grow despite everything.
Ha ha … fascinated?? I know I am bit too fascinated by him but I am sure sooner or later I will come back to my senses. I need to stop wasting my time discussing Shahid Kapoor and instead spend that time on something more constructive. Believe me, I am trying very hard to get over this addiction. (even though it might not appear that way!)

I don’t know much more about Shahid’s character, whether he is a reserved type of person or not, but I do love his acting. That’s all for me! He is not a superstar but he acting skill is really impressive!

i love shahid very much, but you may get amazed by knowing that first i was used to hate him, i hate him to see (when i saw ishq vishq), that time i was only 6 year old, it was in 2004. but, when i saw vivah i became a die hard fan of him.
shahid looks very cute nowdays but he don’t look nice when he’s not shaved. do you know when i saw kismat kannection as way i saw the film today only my confusion got cleared, i thought that he has not shaved in the film, but in the whole film he is shaved. do you know why i like him, because he is very different from any other boy. do you know tigger you are a lucky charm for me. now i want to talk to you but, just now i’m busy, sorry i’ll talk to you later.

Hmm, that’s an interesting point you made Appu. Yeah Shahid is a filmi kid, but he’s not THE filmi kid.

Good point Ranjita. At the end of the day, even though he seems like a nice guy, he’s an actor and if you admire his acting skills, I’m guessing that’s all he cares about.
Wait Rinku, how old are you? If you were 6 when you saw Ishq Vishk…that means you’re 10 now? Ohkay. Jeez…I never knew 10 year olds cared about older actors. I thought you’d be more obsessed with Zac Efron and co, lol.

i am not 10 years old, i am 11 years old, i saw ishq vishq in 2004 and my birthday is gone, it was in may. and small children like 6 or 7 also like shahid, i am having a friend, named pooja she’s 7 and she loves shahid alot, she wishes that she would be shahid’s small sister. and i may tell you my all best friends in school like sakshi, ridisha… think same like pooja. so tell me how would it be that small girls and boys can’t be interested in him.
and i wonder, how it is possible that you were not knowing that i’m small. i did things that pruve that i’m small(my grammer is not correct, i had posted the post named shahid kapoor) how did you not noticed.

i had posted the post on the same day i saw kismat konnection. after seeing the film i posted, what happened na, when i was seeing it i got a terrible pain in my leg(i had been fell down on last sunday of july while watering the plants) i had got facture in my right hand( when i was in 1 class that time also i got facture in the same hand at same place) i got hurt on my leg too but i recognized it on august on first sunday. when i was seeing the movie my leg starting hurting me, i’d just started crying that time, after seeing the movie i’d got to this website, to talk to you. when i was reading your answer of my comment my pain suddenly got over and i was able stand. then i wrote the comment. and yes today again happened the same thing, it was hurting me again, i thought i shall see have you given me the answer of my comment or not again i read your ans wer and it stopped paning.

Um Rinku, a lot of people are immature online so you pretending to be Shahid doesn’t really show your age. I never said little kids couldn’t be interested in Shahid, I just think it’s a bit strange.

Is it Vidya Balan or Sania Mirza? The plot thickens about the woman in Shahid Kapur’s life after the exit of Kareena Kapoor. According to reports, Shahid and Sania are getting closer. The two of them are spending a lot of quality time with each other.
On Wednesday, Sania and Shahid decided not to bother about gossip-mongers, when Sania spent nearly eight hours with Shahid Kapur on the sets of director Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Amol Gupte. The shooting was at Sandhurst Road.
Says a source from the set of Kaminay, “It was a 7 am shift. Sania and Shahid did not come together, but once Sania dropped by, Shahid and Sania were almost inseparable. What was surprising was that they were very open about their relationship.
Their body language said it all. When Shahid was not facing the camera, he spent all his time with Sania. Sania spent a lot of time with Shahid in his vanity van as well.”
“Sania was cheering Shahid all the time. What raised more eyebrows was Sania’s interest in Shahid’s scenes. She made it a point to check out all the scenes with him on the monitor,” our source adds.
The rumours of Shahid and Sania’s relationship have been doing the rounds for a long time, and these rumours gained momentum when the two were seen together at Bangalore’s Windsor Sheraton in December last year, when Sania apparently spent a long time in Shahid’s room.
Reportedly, the hotel bellboy had leaked out news of the two spending time with each other in Shahid’s room. After that, they have been spotted at many food joints and restaurants, totally engrossed in each other

Imagine the embarrassment to the angel-faced diva of Bollywood when her blouse slipped off during the picturization of an item number recently. Incidentally, this didn’t happen on the stage or during a catwalk like the ones we had witnessed at the Wills India Fashion Week or the Lakme India Fashion Week not in the distant past. This was a malfunctioning of a wardrobe, though. Our pretty lady was busy shooting Anil Kapoor’s ‘Short Kut’ when Amrita Rao’s blouse completely slipped off during the picturization of her item number with Anil Kapoor. Earlier, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor were shooting for this special sequence at a studio in Powai.
Sanju was in the vanity van when Anil Kapoor and Amrita Rao were shooting for the mukhda of the song ‘Mariz e mohabbat’. Suddenly, Amrita’s choli slipped. But, She didn’t lose her cool and acted fast by gracefully pulling up the choli. She went back to her vanity van, came back and picturized the same song only a few minutes later. Though Anil Kapoor warned everyone present during the shoot to keep his or her mouth shut about the mishap, yet someone leaked it out. Now, this has become the talk of the town. However, everyone who came to know about it was heard showering praises on the somber beauty for her courageous handling of such a situation.

July 10, 2008 (Sawf News) - Amrita Rao, a heady blend of beauty, talent and style, who thrives on good cinema and straddles its commercial and art forms with equal ease, spoke exclusively to Sawf News about her upcoming film directed by Shyam Benegal - Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur.
Amrita, 27, gained a lot of industry attention by winning the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her performance in Sooraj Barjatya’s blockbuster Vivah (2006) opposite Shahid Kapoor.
Amidst those that Amrita impressed was veteran filmmaker Shyam Benegal, known for his ability to create engaging cinema using talented actors playing real life roles. Benegal, whose Hindi films have won the National Film Award an unprecedented seven times, has picked Amrita for his next film, Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur.

Amrita, had a hard time containing her excitement as she recounted her experience of working with Benegal.
“Right now, I am all keyed up about Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur with Shyam Benegal. What’s more exciting is I am working in the company of fine actors like Shreyas Talpade, Raajeshwari, Ravi Kisen, Ila Arun, Ravi Jhankal and Yashpal Sharma. I am also more excited because I am going to be a part of Shyam Benegal’s profile which consists of big names like Shabana Azmi, Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, Smita Patil, Karishma Kapoor and that gives me a high.”
Amrita has always looked upon herself as an actor not a star, so the decision to sign up for Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur was a no brainer.
“It just took one call from Mr. Benegal for me to say yes, I didn’t even read the script. At this stage of my career, which is just six years old, I am thrilled to be working with a director like Shyam Benegal.”
Amrita’s association with Benegal is likely to span more than on film, as was the case with stars like Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil.
“He is considering me for his next venture but it’s too early to talk about it. The film is still in its initial stages. I have not read the script too. Shyam Benegal is an excellent director and I would definitely like to work with him again.”
Though she did not want to get into details of her role in Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur, Amrita told us enough to get us excited.

“I can’t really reveal much about my role. The film is a comedy, which has been entirely shot in sync sound. I had to work hard on the dialect of the film. It is more situational and not frivolous kind of comedy, but it is a hardcore commercial film with different kind of sensibilities. The treatment is so different that I feel I have evolved as an actor. It has been a tremendous experience. At this point of career, it is a prestigious film for me.”
Amrita’s co-star, Shreyas Talpade, doesn’t have too many fans and not many Bollywood stars would admit to being his admirers. But Amrita had no such qualms.
“This is the first time I am working with him but I have been a huge fan of his work. He has this great ability to make you like him.

Salman was supposedly having problems with Shahid because during the Rockstars concert, Shahid apparently gave Salman some dancing tips and Sallu didn’t appreciate those. I think Salman was being immature, you’re never too old to learn something new or get better. Salman isn’t a good dancer, so he should appreciate Shahid’s tips, lol.
Thanks for all the news stories. I also read Sawf News so you don’t have to send me the stories. Amrita isn’t that great an actress, although she makes a nice pair with Shahid so unless the story is really interesting, I can’t be bothered to write about her.
KK and JWM were different movies, so I can’t say I prefer one over the other. What about you?
