Katrina is now a serious actress

Katrina Kaif might be delusional, she honestly thinks that her bouncing around on the screen makes her a serious actress and the fact that she has had some undeserved hits, seems to prove all her critics wrong.
She says,
“When I started, people were not only writing me off for my strong British accent, there were many others who tried to prevent me from making it till here,”
“They didn’t do so in an aggressive or excessive manner, but they used to say things like ‘I don’t know…’ and ‘I’m not sure…’ that would suggest a not-so-positive approach towards me. But I proved myself ultimately.”
I don’t know what her appeal is. Yes, she is pretty but her accent gets on my nerves and she hasn’t shown much evidence of talent, playing the same roles over and over again. That’s not success or talent…that just makes you a Disney teen actor.

Ummm…I don’t know what is up with people and her accent. I mean it doesn’t sound very British to me…More like an overly practiced American accent. Anyways, all she’s good for is acting as the side role of the hero’s girlfriend.

I like her it’s just i don’t think i will ever be able to take her seriously. she should try some different roles.

But, well considering the popularity of disney teen actors like miley cyrus, hilary duff et cetera, I wouldn’t say that’s bad for her at all… Now all she’s got to do is start a singing career

something more serious. i mean in her movies shes been a girlfriend or a girl from london or a person the main guy falls in love with. she has never been anything more than that.

I like Katrina she is one of my top three ateresses right after Amrita rao number 1 and Prianka Chopra number 2. Katrina is in a tie with Ashwaria.
Katrina really should try some different roles.

she does a good job in those roles but she should try some different ones and get out of her comfort zone. that’s how she will learn and become a better actress.

Yeah i mean just to try…. she should take a side kick role..not in special appearence or anything…but like Pankaj Kapoor roles
I seriously didnt know who Pankaj kapoor was and i dont remeber watching any of his movies but my mother told me he was a great sidekick

It’s an interesting idea, but how many times do they actually have a female sidekick role? Occasionally the main female lead will have a female friend, but the friend usually appears minimally and there’s isn’t much character development at all. A sidekick role wouldn’t help Kat, it would just be a crappier version of what she’s doing now.
