Shilpa Shetty says the media and press only like to focus on inconsequential things without looking at the bigger picture
''It is all of you from the media who put me in the headlines and are unnecessarily giving me undue importance...One goes for a praiseworthy event in support of HIV/AIDS and instead of focusing on the severity and importance of the cause the media pays more heed to matters that are completely irrelevant and inconsequential. If I don't blame the media then what should I do?"Well, as much as I hate to have to agree with Shilpa, she's right. No-one should even bother with Shilpa Shetty, we should all concentrate on the Indian truck-drivers who pass around HIV. I wonder what scandals they have to their name?
