Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty is not amused about the red tape in India and particularly rude airport staff that don't let her do whatever she wants. She was recently stopped at the airport and was told that she couldn't travel, because she was too famous...or she didn't have some clearance from the supreme court.
Her spokesperson says:
"The immigration authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport just seemed to refuse to take note of this clearance of Shilpa's name by the Supreme Court."
"She called me in the middle of the night and was in tears saying an inspector had treated her badly, and told her she could not travel out of the country as there was no clearance order from the court,"
And since Shilpa doesn't like him doing all the speaking, she said before leaving:
"I can understand something like this if I'd committed a criminal offence. But what was my offence, when I'm just an actor, going to perform a musical on foreign land, representing my country? I don't need to be treated like this in my own country. It's terrible,"
Yes Shilpa, it is terrible. I feel your pain. I wish I could have been there to laugh at your humiliation and embarrassment...wait, you mean that's not what fans do?
