Shah Rukh didn’t want to be famous

Author: tigger  //  Category: Shah Rukh Khan
We all know Shah Rukh Khan's fame started with his role in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, but Shah Rukh wasn't so keen on the role when it was offered to him. This was revealed by film critic Anupama Chopra in her biography as she talks about how Shah Rukh grew with the years and has finally accepted reality in Chak De India by playing someone his own age. She also talks about how confused Indians are and how they've brought together Shah Rukh and his roles, which probably isn't healthy.
"But with Shah Rukh, the distance between the actor and image blurred. The audience believed that Shah Rukh was Raj (his character in DDLJ). He every girl's fantasy lover, every sister's brother, every mother's son. In short, a superstar."
Remember people, he is a human being with faults...Aah, who am I kidding? Shah Rukh is the King of Bollywood. He has no faults! I have no faults too, besides being a compulsive liar.
