Jab We Met Karina Shahid New Indian Movie Promo - Funny bloopers R us
The early promos for Jab we Met showed Kareena Kapoor running around to the song “Walking on Sunshine”. The later promos never featured the song again. So what happened there?
Director Imtiaz Ali says he had to pull the song out of the movie because it he couldn’t get the copyright for it.
“It went perfectly with Kareena’s character and the film’s mood. In fact, I didn’t want to use it in just the first promo but all the promotional campaigns and also as part of the background music in my film,”
“The song was recorded in 1985. The band is now defunct. We couldn’t source the song to its origin.”
Shame, but it’s nice that Bollywood is finally getting it’s act together after ripping off movies and songs from all and sundry (Note: Partner). But someone tell me, what’s with the Shalwar (baggy pants) and T-shirt look that Kareena sports in that first part?
